The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very nice. The room was clean and all you needed, my only critique was the mini bar fridge was locked - I didn't intend on using products from the mini bar but it would've been nice to keep my water cool in there. Hotel was well looked after and looked like the pictures online, sometimes the hallways were a little messy from people ordering room service but again this is only a minor issue. The breakfast buffet was great, many options and all tasty, the service was also great

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE TAKING OVERNIGHT TRAIN. ROOM WILL NOT BE READY. They don't care about single travelers. They only care about groups like Viking ship cruisers and large tour groups. Everybody else can get lost.

We had a lovely stay. Wonderful hotel, great facilities. Hotel staff were mostly great, but had a bad interaction with one of the night managers. We had late night food at the cafe . When we went to the till to pay the bill, the night manager was on his mobile phone and continued to use it right up to the point of us being in front of him. He did not seem interested in attending to us personally. Instead of dealing with our bill, he called across one of his subordinates who was actually cleaning somewhere else to process the bill and stepped back and watched the transaction. I found this really strange, and was not sure if this was due

Huge conference while at the property which meant all non conference guests got ignored. Breakfast was good but really busy and the rooms were average. Leisure facilities were really good as was the outside bar and food.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed in a family room which was adequate in size but there was only one shared bedside cabinet between the 2 double beds. This meant that one person in each bed had no nightstand which was inconvenient. The bath was worn and tired looking and needed an update. There was a separate toilet which was good for a family room but it was small. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The pool was nice but busy as it was Easter weekend. For smaller children there was no shallow area, the pool is one depth of 1.55 metres all over.
