Family Getaway!

Spent the long weekend at the totem lodge playing board games and pool with my family! Loved the large open area living room, dining room, and kitchen. Also loved the covered patio! There were a handful of things that I wish were improved. A few times my son dropped a toy on the ground and we were surprised to see so much dust under the furniture. Also disappointed that we couldn't get the master TV to work and that the shower had very slow drainage. By the time we finished showering we were standing in a pool of water. We loved the bird feeder outside but had to venture to Walmart to buy some bird seed so we could enjoy it. We also couldn't enjoy the fireplace outside because there wasn't enough propane. Overall we loved the cabin and would definitely return!

Totem lodge

Nice for a family getaway. The patio needed to be hosed off before arriving. There was a lot of dust and yellow pollen all over and we had to wipe furniture down before sitting on the patio. The furniture was not very comfortable. The host was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would return again.

Loved it

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The house is just as advertised, only it was actually bigger than it looked. Everything was well maintained and we were stocked up with bathroom and kitchen necessities. Our key code didn’t work when we arrived but the property management office took care of it within minutes. We replaced the propane tank so we could use the grill and outdoor fireplace. Other than that, everything was great.

Beautiful stay!

We loved our stay. It snowed while we were there and it was so pretty. Some minor things we noticed that there were dirty dishes and some in the dishwasher, there was laundry left in the washer and dryer. The backyard is not fenced all the way so it’s open and anyone can come in or out. The garage code didn’t work but we found a garage opener. The keypad also didn’t work when we arrived and it took about 10min on the phone figuring it out with the rental service but they were nice and eventually we got in! There wasn’t a lot of kitchen supplies so bring your own if you plan to cook. Some spices and there was coffee and coffee filters but not a lot more than that. Not sure the cleaning service is as thorough as it claims but it was good enough for us and we made it work. Overall some minor issues but we had a really great time and would stay again!

We really struggled getting up that hill to property! Otherwise....it was perfect! Cabin is beautiful ...clean...and plenty of room! The outside decks were soooo nice at night! We saw dear and javelin! The "locals" went above and beyond with kindness. I'm for sure gonna rent this gem again!!!

POS: This was a great place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone (inside and out), quiet and clean. We would stay here again. NEG: Tried to contact property manager about some items we noticed were broken when we arrived, ended up emailing them with no response.

Great lodge in the woods

The location is great for hiking in and around Lynx Lake. If you need to go into prescott proper plan on 20 minutes. Wi-FI worked ok. Cell service is almost non-existent. Cleanliness was ok except the couches. Under the couch cushions was gross. We only checked under because we thought the couches may have been pull-outs, they are not btw. The full size 4.5'x9' pool table with good cues was nice. Overall nice and quiet.

Great property, Great stay!

First time at a home away. Stayed 2 nights and payed twice as much as I expected because of all the fees. A week stay may be more worth the fees. We had a great stay and it was stocked with everything we needed and more. Both baby gates on porch (laches were broken) and the corn hole game was broken but Im sure that is due to other guests being dis-respectable of other peoples property. All in all, Great location and plenty of room in and out for everyone.

Great House, Rental Agency Terrible

My family and I rented this property this past weekend and had a fantastic time. The house was clean on arrival, and we loved the open concept. There were multiple things we found wrong with the property throughout the weekend. 1) The grill failed to work on the first day. We had to go to Home Depot and purchase a new breather valve. We managed to get the grill working on the second night. Reached out to PMI Rental, no response. 2)At 3AM, one of the fire alarms were chirping. Without any spare batteries in the house, we had to take it off the wall 3)The tub next to the bathroom was clogged After checkout, I reached out to the Rental Agency (PMI) and explained the situation. They told me that after the check out inspection, the grill melted the balcony, and that the tub was caused from debris in the drain. They did apply a discount ($90) but was going to subtract it from the damages done to the balcony by the grill. My party is very upset that we are being blamed for these damages. The grill is placed in a spot, and we used the grill in the same exact spot as it was advertised. How are we supposed to know it is going to melt the balcony? Apart of the rental cost, you purchase a $1500 insurance policy in order to cover damages. They refused to issue us the discount back on our credit card, and run all the damages under the "insurance policy". Why have an insurance policy if your just going to charge the rental party? Communications with PMI was HORRIFIC. After speaking with a representative named TJ, he explained he would call me back with more information and also send me an email explaining everything. No call back, no email. I ended up having to call him twice in order to get more information. Overall, fantastic property! Dealing with PMI rental is horrible, and I can say I will NEVER rent from them again.
