this hotel was nice and downtown, clean had a nice pool and hot tub but i wouldn’t go there again just because of the parking, it was across the street on the fourth floor and the parking garage was crowded and did not have much room and it was harder to park in as well the way it’s set up there’s not much room between cars , after i squeezed into a spot cranky as i couldn’t open the doors very well to get things out of the car, afterwards i was told parking was allowed on the road even though signs stated 3 hours max but i had to be gone by 9 am, which i had been told that from the beginning as the parking garage was ridiculous

There was a bomb threat! They evacuated the premises. We were out until early morning. I understand it wasn’t the hotels fault. However, I do think there should have been some kind of compensation.

Excellent hotel with helpful staff. I found the parking garage rather frustrating. We ended up parking on street with no ill effects. The hotel is in the downtown core, which means some street people late at night. No problem, just don’t make eye contact and be aware. Daytime walkabout I’d recommend CrossRoads Brewing and Distillery and the intriguing Marquee International Foods and Gifts. Many other eateries and hotels nearby.

Front staff very nice. Room good. Hallways weathered but OK. Had unfortunate police incident evacuation late 1 night but not the hotels fault. Found hotel parkade across the street challenging and tight for larger truck but at least somewhat secure.

Only complaint was I never found a pool. Hotel was advertised as having one but it wasn’t mentioned at check in and I didn’t spot it anywhere. Didn’t have time for it anyway so I didn’t ask But it should be clearer.
