Our girls weekend away was perfect on the lake! The kitchen was well stocked, so we had fun cooking. The bedrooms allowed us to spread out, but also all be together in the living spaces and outside when we wanted.

Scenic and Spacious

Perfect spot for relaxing, fishing and boating

Ideal location to enjoy your break. Plent of space for all and dock made it easy to tie up the boat or just hang out and fish. Quiet and relaxing. We all had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Super responsive host. The check-in and out process were easy and painless.

Army Boot Camp Graduation

Our daughter graduated from Fort Jackson Army boot camp and it was a perfect place for all of us who came to celebrate with her to stay and hang out and enjoy the large open space indoors and the beautiful views outside.

A beautiful respite!!!

We had a large group visiting from all over! This house was perfect for allowing many beds with a central location for hanging together! The property is beautiful, on a peninsula of Lake Murray! Dock with outdoor picnic area and charcoal grill, is a great place to relax in good weather. All around great experience!

The only suggestions I would have is a larger trash receptacle in the kitchen and ask the housekeepers to sweep up the bugs on the floor and to clean the soap scum in all showers. The floors of the showers were all slippery and could cause a fall. Other than those minor things the property is ideal for family gatherings.

Family get together

Our siblings and spouses came here for an annual get together. We had folks from 3 different states. Everything was extremely clean and stocked with all items needed. The solitude in this area was wonderful. All communication with the owner was precise and timely. We would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem!

The name of this listing should be Hidden Gem. This house is tucked away in Prosperity on a quiet cove of Lake Murray away from all of the hustle and bustle. The dock is a great place to hang out and the house has everything you would need for your stay. So many bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and a great kitchen and living area. We had a great week here! The only con is that the driveway is narrow and the neighbors will flip out if you cross the property lines at all so there was a lot of shuffling around of our cars when someone needed to get out and they weren't the last person to pull in because you have to pull all the way out into the culdesac to make sure you don't touch any of the neighbors' grass.

Nice home and property

There were a few issues with the property that we brought to the attention of the manager— such as live mousetraps all around the living room which was a hazard for our 1 year old or an adult that stepped too close to the couch without looking. But for the most part the listing was accurate and our stay was enjoyable.

Ready to go back and we just left!

Clean, spacious absolutely gorgeous property in a quiet cove, we adored our stay and can't wait to go back. Lake was peaceful enough for all kids to try kayaking and the house was spectacular. Beds were comfortable and sheets were fabulous. Toiletries provided were a nice touch. Plenty of cookware and storage containers for leftovers. Probably one of the coolest fridges ever. We spent most of our time outside on the dock, such a great hangout space. In the words of my 4yo on the last day, when can we come back?

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

We cannot say enough good things about this home. The set up of the house was great with two bedrooms and a nice open living room and kitchen on the first floor, and then three bedrooms on the second level. The rooms, closets and bathrooms were all very large and had plenty of space, and the beds and linens were so comfortable! The home decor was lovely and everything was very clean. It had everything we, and the kids needed including a highchair, toddler plates and utensils, low bunk beds, etc. We enjoyed looking out to the lake from the screened in porch and window enclosed porch. And we enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit, grill and the dock, where we even did some fishing. We cannot wait to rent this home again. It was amazing.

Wonderful property

This property was great! Yes, the beds were comfortable. Yes, it was clean and well stocked. Yes, everything listed is accurate and property manager answered all of our questions. But there was so much more! The owners have included a security system in which an alarm beeps when the door is open. This was especially important to us because my grandchildren are very young (4 to 6 years old) and we were concerned about the water. They included cots for children. One of my grandsons did not want to sleep in the bunk room and used it to sleep in his parent’s room. Also, the deck was clean and had a ladder that made it easy to get in the water. The owners had extra life jackets if needed. The water was deep enough at the dock to for our boat. The owners have also had the lawn sprayed for mosquitoes- another added bonus! We had the best vacation! Thank you!

Spacious and Serene

The prosperty is so beautiful and peaceful! We stayed here for one of our sons who graduated basic training for the Army. Our life has been so chaotic these past few years and so it was so amazing to have a place as beautiful as this to take some time to enjoy this amazing achievement. The house is beautiful, spacious, and the beds are amazing! My only complaint I would give is the kitchen could have been cleaner, but only inside the drawers and on the cabinets themselves. But definitely is not a deal breaker for me. The one screened in porch off of the family room had some evidence of someone previously smoking in there and the remnants was still there. My husband discarded that and we opened the windows and it aired right out. Communication for this rental was quick and efficient. We have discussed taking a family vacation and may likely rent this again! Thank you for making our experience so wonderful.

Nice house and location

The house was very nice. I did not like the early check-in process. I feel if I am.willing to pay $50 for early check in, it should be guaranteed. I work for a resort and if the room happens to be open before check in we just let people check in not charge more. We didnt find out until 1:45 would could check in at 2 and by then made other plans. The person i communicated with was great! Did let us get in a little early for free due to situation. Some leavebehinds in the house from last guest left after cleaning. The biggest complaint was the Wi-Fi. I feel like if the Wi-Fi is that bad it should be described in the notes. We were 12 guys sitting around trying to draft fantasy football and we had to change our plans due to the wifi which made everything take so much longer. So much buffering watching movies or TV. Barely could load web pages in phones/laptops. It was very very bad. The house was very nice though, location great!

Perfect layout for large families

We always vacation with another family every year. This house checked a lot of boxes for us because the layout was perfect. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom! The view of the lake was perfect. Its also a perfect spot to drink your coffee in the morning. There were plenty of bathrooms which is nice when everyone comes in from the lake and is ready to shower. The kitchen is spacious and it made cooking for 9 people easier then most places we have stayed in the past. One draw back, we all had tmobile as a cell carrier and we did not have great service. The internet is not great which was only a problem for the one family member that was taking online classes. So if you plan on working remotely this could be a problem. One family member had verizon and she didnt have the problems that the rest of us had. Being unplugged isnt a bad thing..but not everyone can completely unplug. The yard is flat enough in spots that we played spikeball and kan jam. We caught a huge catfish off the dock. The kayaks were enjoyed by all! If you kayak around to the left you might get as lucky as we did and see deer. We saw nine deer! There are a few logs in the water and you can spot turtles. It was a great stay.

Family Thanksgiving at the Lake

This was our first trip to Lake Murray and it did not disappoint. The house was beautiful and very spacious. Loved the layout of the house. There was a beautiful view of the lake with geese visiting us every morning. The weather was nice enough for us to even enjoy sitting down on the dock.
