I had a great stay at the Residence Inn in downtown Providence. The location is super convenient—an easy walk to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. One small surprise: there are no ice buckets in the rooms, so you have to use your own cups to fill ice from the machine, which was a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Rooms are attended to every other day, but they don't tell you and for a two day visit there will be no room cleaning. But they don't put two days of coffee service or extra cups in the room. In reality that shouldn't matter since the coffee is terrible.
