I stayed at the Marival for 2 weeks. The resort itself is great. They had shows every night in the theatre from the entertainment team and activities throughout the day by the main pool. Fernanda from the entertainment team was super helpful and friendly the whole time. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a family vacation.

The property is very nice. Food, staff are average. They start blasting party music at 11am over the pool which made it feel much less high end. Everyone was reserving sunbeds with towls without being in the pool. Very annoying. And i found the area around the pool needed cleaning throughout the day, but there was noone. Cups everywhere, dropped food, animal feces...

The room very comfortable and excellent service, the one thing we did not like was that due to a low occupancy 20% (low season) there was only one restaurant to dine in. The food was great but there were no more option the others were closed and the restaurant was pack and short of staff too. The service, ammenities, entertainment were great.

Family vacation

Food and room were average. The location was beautiful. Very family friendly with lots of options for kid foods and activities. The kids pool was great for the little kids and 3 other pools to choose from. The buffet was very busy! Overall, we enjoyed the all inclusive experience.

It’s has its good and its bad . The good part for us was the food was good , a lot of options to eat at all times and it’s all good . The staff is all really nice every where you go . The bad part for us was in the room that was given to us . The bathrooms are no actual room the have a see thru glass door that divides shower and toilet if you go with kids it’s just weird because you can see everything . The second bad part of the room was that the ceiling fan worked but it made the worst noise when it was one . So we never had it on . The pool it’s not its cleanest . The last part if they offer you to go see there property they tell you it’s only 1 hour and 30min , they take 3hours from your day .

I can usually eat anything but this buffet was bad every night. Lunch was even worse. There’s two restaurants that are decent but always closed and one needs a two day in advance reservation. The staff acted annoyed when you asked for anything or had questions. The room was about a 3 hour wait. There’s one bar during the day and they don’t like to serve people we got ignored every time. I’m sure they want a tip but even the atm was out of service. The elevator never worked and the one time we got on, it broke locking us in it. No one came to help, we had to crawl out of it after yelling for help for about 20 minutes. They kicked my 12 year old out of the teen club because apparently you have to be 13 to use the games ? They had so many rules for such a terrible facility. The beach was the only good part but there is no service there no food allowed and no staff for drinks. They say boogie boards and kayaks are included but they never let you use it regardless of the weather, it’s always a red flag and would never let us use it. This place ruined my Nuevo Vallarta experience. I would never go back. The main area and theatre are outside so no ac. It is very hot to try and watch any entertainment. Not getting our rooms on time after a long flight probably had a lot to do with the irritability level. Don’t lose your towel cards tbey are 300 pesos each. Everything is extra charge and you’re not allowed to use the balcony to dry bathing suits, nothing is allowed in balcony.

I enjoyed all of the amenities. The sit-down restaurants had excellent food. The buffet was ok, many of the choices were not very fresh. Staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated the gluten-free dining options, especially the pizza.

The resort has excellent food options. Plus the entertainment here is amazing for children of all ages and adults too. The staff is very friendly and does an excellent job in servicing the guests. The property is very clean and is constantly maintained. The ambience here is very welcoming. If you are looking for a all-inclusive family, friendly experience, this is the place to be.

The staff and service are top notch 1 employee for 2 guests. You need anything, you look up and there is someone there waiting to help you. We could not have asked for a better stay. Wonderful people wonderful property wonderful vacation. Highly recommended
