This was my first time out of the country and staying here made my birthday great. They are so welcoming and and had great hospitality. I know the resort was new but I’m glad I have it a chance. It was everything I imagined it to be.

my overall experience was terrible i ended up choosing this hotel after my flight was canceled it was the worst expeMy overall experience was awful. I chose this hotel due to my flight cancellation, and it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve had. The only positive aspect was the customer service from the staff. I would not recommend it.

First time staying at this resort, had a great time. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Room had an issue with the shower draining. For only having 1 buffet, the food was great! They change up the menu every night so we had something different every time we ate which was very nice. The private beach is amazing, pool is very clean. Only thing we had issues with was the gym, equipment can use upgrading.

My stay at Bakour Punta Cana Suites was absolutely amazing—above and beyond what I expected! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. Their warmth and attentiveness created such a welcoming atmosphere that truly enhanced the experience. The food was fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options that never disappointed. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was fresh and full of flavor. The resort itself was stunning, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds and top-notch amenities. The staff and property was nice itself except being that the property is new, not alot of amenities were not working. I stood for four nights, it was suppose to be a suite with a jacuzzi and a balcony. Unfortunately we got to the room and did not receive the room we booked. We spoke with the front desk and a few hours later got our suite with our balcony and jacuzzi. The manager did let us know that this room has some complications to it, as in our shower drain did not work so our whole bathroom was flooded.. Also our jacuzzi did not fill up for our first two nights and also had to let us shower in another room so it was a huge inconvenience! Now I would say, the last two nights were better, our shower drain was working pretty good. Now as for the jacuzzi, it was freezing and once we turned on the jets it was very soapy and started to over fill so much that the water and foam was spilling off the balcony and we were slipping around to turn it off. Apparently we’re being refunded for just one night but no update has been communicated.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at Bakour. This was our 2nd visit to this resort but first under the new management of Bakour. The resort is so quiet and peaceful. Our stay was incredibly relaxing. The pool area is gorgeous. It offers plenty of chairs and some poolside cabanas. There is a bar at each end of the pool for drinks. The Oceanside bar has snacks and drinks. The waitress at that bar was fantastic. She is so friendly and attentive. The beach is fantastic and very clean. Plenty of beach chairs and cabanas on the beach. There are a few vendors on the beach. They are very respectful. We enjoyed dinner at the Japanese restaurant one night. It currently isn’t part of the AI plan but we’re told that will change soon. It was an incredibly affordable meal. We had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for $40. The food there was delicious. Carlos is a super friendly and attentive server there and also bartender during the day. Thanks, Carlos! The buffet was kind of hit or miss. Honestly, this has been my experience at other resorts too. I don’t expect much from the buffets. They do have an omelette station in the mornings, fresh fruit, and great coffee. The staff are amazing! I wish I’d caught everyone’s names. Kayla, Roberto, maria, Jovany, Tomas, “Land Rover”, Carlos. Everyone is so attentive and kind. We will definitely be back.

Staff was great . Rooms were nice and clean. Buffet food was ok not a 5 star options. Biggest issue in the resort are the flies everywhere in the buffet area... not healthy at all.... and seem no one care about it . Food flying around the food not a 5 star rating . 1 star at best ..overall if your looking to relax and stay in the resort this is the place.
