Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive offers 1402 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature minibars and a safe. Rooms open to balconies. The resort was very pretty and well maintained. It was clean and we felt safe. We absolutely loved most of the restaurants at which we dined. La Comedie had the best food I've ever had. Service needs some work. We upgraded to premium level and was incredibly underwhelmed (premium level was very worth it at other resorts). The biggest perk for a family of 5 was to reserve dinner plans ahead of time by emailing them. It didn't work out. I did not receive a response to my email or my follow up. When we arrived, they did not try to honor my requests or acknowledge my inconvenience. Instead, we got what was available. Rather, I was made to feel like I was ignored because I was not entitled to that benefit because the guest service rep told me the French restaurant cost extra (it is included in premium level). My email, had it been opened, indicated we paid for this upgrade and gave my information. No one was completely disrespectful, but it was certainly not like the service I've received from other resorts. Some of the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience. I would like to compliment the theatre bar staff as they were incredibly nice, seemed to be enjoying themselves, and really went above and beyond. Oliver at the adults only pool was great, too. Because we have had consistently great experiences at another resort, we will go there. But I would tell a friend don't bother upgrading to premium level if they chose this resort.

We have now been back to Barcelo Palace because it’s just an amazing place the people, the comforts and overall stay. It’s a place where families can enjoy it as well as adults there is something for all types of vacations.

The property has great amenities. The majority of the staff wasnt friendly, poor service to the guests and not very welcoming. Food was decent but not so many options, same selection everyday. Restaurant reservations are imposible, always full even for the next days. Our room was dirty when we got there. The hotel is lacking on cleaning. We have been to other hotels like Royalton and all the restaurants were available everynight even without reservations. Pool cabanas/seats were taken by lifeguards and they will give them to the people who offer them money. I will not recommend people to go there. Very poor experience.

The worst hotel we ever were. The rooms are old, full with mold and dirty. We contacted Expedia and after 7 hours of discussion with the hotel they made the refund and we went to another Hotel. We went to the TRS Turquesa, that was amazing!

Definitely eco-friendly because they try to turn on the AC and lights as little as possible. Big rooms, convenient, good food choices, nice pools, fun activities… Overall satisfied. There were always flies in the dining area and restaurants, which was very annoying.

El hotel está muy bueno y muy espacioso, es súper amplio y acogedor, Muy buena variedad de comida y muy buen sabor, las camas son muy confortables, las habitaciones están buenas aunque el aire acondicionado parece que está fijo a una temperatura que en las noches llega a dar calor, yo con el aire acondicionado al mínimo y un ventilador de techo funcionando (casi no tiraba aire) sentí calor todas las noches, por lo demás todo muy bueno. Lo único que no me gustó fue lo del aire acondicionado
