The place was very comfortable air-conditioning worked great but I think the listing should be changed. You say that it’s on a golf course. There’s no golf course outside that sliding door. Also TV should go back were it was as it blows on you now when watching TV. Also should be TVs in the bedrooms otherwise the place was clean. It was comfortable no issues not much to do around there. I wasted money on getting a golf cart. Didn’t even need it. Beach club is so so very small pool beach is not that great. I had much better time in Cap Cana. Karina was fabulous

A lot of condo for money!

Strengths and weaknesses. Mostly strengths. Owners above picked that time to use jack hammers to peel up tile that leaked. Next door neighbors played music very loud the first few nights. Over all, unit was more than promised and just a wonderful unit with a great view!

Peaceful oasis

T-shirt ideaThis property at the Sotogrande complex within Cap Cana is a lovely, tranquil spot away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to good restaurants, beach clubs, and activities if you are looking for that too. The condo is spacious, beautifully furnished, and with an absolutely fabulous outdoor plunge pool and lounging area. Angela is a super friendly, very responsive host, and we appreciated her recommendations for dining and activities, although we primarily grocery shopped and made our own daytime meals. This is a quiet property with a small but beautiful white sand beach. The concierge staff is very accommodating and taxis to get around Cap Cana were convenient and inexpensive. We ate dinner at several of the restaurants at the Marriott Sanctuary resort next door, and spent a day at the Caleton beach club at Eden Roc - highly recommend. We had a great time.

Ein Ort zum Ausspannen

Wenn man von den Bauarbeiten/Renovierungen in grĂ¶ĂŸerem Umfang absieht, die aktuell an eigentlich jedem Objekt in der Anlage vorgenommen werden, ist ein Fleckchen absoluter Ruhe mit bombastisch großen Pool direkt vor der Nase und einem unglaublichen Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben die Auszeit dirt genossen. Einem Familienmitglied fehlte an dem Ort eine Bar. In der Wohnanlage selbst gibt es keinerlei Gastronomie/Bar. DafĂŒr muss man die umliegenden Anlagen/Ortschaften aufsuchen. Aber das Apartment ist in Sachen KĂŒche sehr gut ausgestattet, einer selbstversorgung steht nichts im Wege. Und auch sonst ist die Wohnung geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Fabulous! Loved it!

We LOVED LOVED this condo. Fantastic communication from Angela.The condo was even better than we thought.Totally massive and perfect for our family. 3 large bedrooms EACH with its own ensuite bathroom PLUS an additional small bathroom. These are the MOST comfortable beds I've ever slept in in a VRBO. All the amenities you need in the kitchen. Smart TV's in every bedroom and family room Comfortable couches in living room. All bedrooms and living spaces have large patio doors to the MASSIVE private ground floor terrace. And let me tell you, you cannot beat this terrace. This is where we spent much of our time: comfortable couches, loungers, hammock and a private large hot tub. It gets better. Built in bluetooth speakers in the terrace (as well as bedroom and family room) that you can easily connect your devices to. The favourite family spot. Great massive pool right there a few steps off your terrace. Beach on site is nice but water is shallow and bit rocky so not best for swimming. Juanillo beach is a short 5-7 minute golf cart ride. Perfect beach spot. Also API beach at marina is FANTASTIC but it's a beach club so you have to pay. We booked again before we left. It was one of the most relaxing trips we've ever had. Kids were sad to leave. It really became our home in a short span of time. With a golf cart is was fun to explore Cap Cana and the different beaches. SOO much value in this condo. I miss it already.

Disappointing

Firstly, our communication with the host was good. She was helpful in coordinating a transfer to and from the airport. She was ready and willing to help despite being located in a different time zone. The condo was spacious and clean. The kitchen needs a deep cleaning, organization and maintenance. The microwave light and vent were broken, the Nespresso machine was not functional and the freezer door was broken. The lighting in the kitchen was inadequate. There was no laundry detergent or dishwashing machine soap provided. The gas grill was dirty, corroded and non-functional. The clothes washers were moldy and full of sand.The pool on the property was clean, but the structure was not well maintained. The main reason we chose this listing was for the as advertised hot tub. The resort hot tubs were empty and the condo hot tub was cold. The host assured us the hot tub heater was in working order but it remained cold the entire stay, despite several maintenance visits. Lastly, the resort property was in disrepair with constant construction noises (jack hammers, power tools) interfering with our ability to enjoy the outside, including the beach. We were not informed of any construction issues prior to arrival. Overall, our stay was disappointing and we would have chosen a different location.

Our Week at Sotogrande

The apartment and services in connection with our rental were great! The owner was very attentive to our questions and special requests and very much helped to make our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The housekeeper she provided even fixed a few meals for us that were delicious. One issue with the Sotogrande properties in general though was that some of the facilities on the grounds were not fully operational. For instance, the large swimming pool in the center of the property was open and maintained during or stay, but the jacuzzis alongside the pool, as well as the bar at one end of the pool were not. Also, we appeared to be almost the only folks staying at the resort during our time there, and quite a lot of the resort seemed be somewhat under repair, perhaps from the hurricane that impacted the coastline last fall. I suspect that the owner may have discounted the rental for the time being as a result, as the rate did seem to be a bit of a bargain. In any case, we did fully enjoy our stay, and particularly enjoyed getting out and about in the Cap Cana and Punta Cana environs and enjoying the wonderful tropical weather at the beaches and elsewhere. We look forward to returning again!!

Everything about our stay was wonderful, beyond my imagination! The location of the property and its comfort, its proximity to the beach and pool, the helpfulness of the owner, Angela, as well as the Sotogrande concierge were all very positive. The restaurant recommendations were spot-on; we tried a different one every night. We had a wonderful time going from the shade of the patio to the sun at pool and the beach. We definitely want to return next year. Thank you, Angela, for providing us with a wonderful place to stay; it was perfect!

It had EVERYTHING. Even beach hats, massage table, jacuzzi, grill, beach towels, music system, walking out to beach setting, quiet, private, excellent maid service, amenities, recommendations for restaurants, fun things to do around. There is nothing we didn’t like. Beach is small and had algae, but nice beach for walking just around the corner. Beautiful Marina nearby. Also, big, I mean big swimming pool.

The apartment is very cozy, we were with family. My children and my husband really enjoyed it, the view of the pool and the beach. Ana's attention during our stay and its owner before arriving and after leaving the best. A lot of communication between us. I hope in our next vacation to visit again

Great Stay in Cap Cana!

The condo was very nice and clean. Since it was storm season it was virtually empty which we loved because it was like having your own private resort. Angela was great to work with and Ana the maid was excellent. The security process seems slightly over the top but every other aspect was fine.

Excellent apartment ubication, great extra service with Ana , beautiful beach decorations with everything you need for relaxing vacation and a plus with the out door hot tub. Unfortunately the beach was close due the seaweed problem we have to drive almost 45 min to Macao to enjoy a beautiful bech. Angela the best owner !! Great Family Location

We have a family of 6 with 4 young kids and the condo was perfect for a very relaxing stay. The pool was amazing and we had it to ourselves almost the entire time. The condo was clean and large with a very nice and spacious patio. We rented a car and made a few day trips to see dolphins and monkeys. Only very minor downside was that the food on property was not great, but Juanillo Beach was only 5 minutes away and there was a great bar/restaurant that the kids loved. Anna also helped to keep the place very clean so we could enjoy our time playing. I would recommend this to anyone or family looking for a very relaxing and convenient trip.

Amazing Property!

Just returned from a 10 day stay in Angela’s condo. We had four adults and two young kids. The condo was absolutely perfect for our family. Proximity to the pool is steps from the terrace, the terrace beautiful with outdoor living room and full dining table. The hot tub is a beautiful bonus on the terrace! Ana was so lovely and took such good care of us. The children loved her fresh fruit platters every day! Worth noting you will have a fabulous nights sleep as the beds are very comfortable! Angela was very prompt with all requests and was so helpful with all her suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We have already requested next years dates!!
