Visited for 6 days in March 2025, three females on a “spring break” trip away from their young families. Would absolutely love to stay again, with or without family. The top highlights are: - A visually stunning property where each decor line or detail could easily grace a cover of design magazine. - A perfect private beach with the softest white sand and clear water, cleaned daily, very swimmable, a wave breaker, has both family and adult areas - Incredible food and amazing variety of craft cocktails (and the coffee shop with delicious coffees, and the excellent fresh smoothie bar) - Superb fitness facilities and activities - Staff that create a tranquil, luxurious and pampered experience for guests - perfect cleanliness With a little more detail: - Ocean view king room view was stunning - Restaurant favourites: Twiggy (adults only) for lunch - divine fresh food and cocktails, host X and server David took care of us there almost every day; Caracol Mexican cousine and Union steak house were outstanding. Coffee is excellent at the coffee shop, and the smoothies are perfect at breakfast time. Monkey bar bartender was real a master of his art. - Aqua fitness was so energizing, and instructor Alex was particularly engaging! - Entertainment programming was excellent and varied, spread throughout the property. Even the balcony was a great place to relax with a fantastic view of the water. They kept our fridge stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks. All of the on-site all inclusive dining options were excellent and the staff throughout the resort were extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly!

Overall: It’s good but needs some work. The food was a highlight. The family pool size was claustrophobic. The staff are genuinely trying to improve things, however, and I respect that. The Good: Food, Cleanliness, Staff. The Kids Club was great and I can’t compliment their staff enough. The Bad: Pools are cold. Hot tubs are cold. Elite doesn’t offer much benefit. Food service can be slow. The foosball tables and air hockey tables are clearly second-hand and in need of repair and maintenance. They need a club for dancing at night. The Ugly: THE FAMILY POOL IS TOO SMALL. The adult pool is massive and relatively empty. They need to switch pools or add another family pool. Also, the evening entertainment is not great and far too late for families. The shows should be around 7pm. We stayed as Elite Class Guests. It was not worth it. In my opinion as it didn’t provide for any appreciable added value. If you simply pre-book your restaurants before arriving it’ll be much more useful as the butlers here aren’t able to get you the reservations you want anyway, so just do it in advance on the app.

This hotel is new and super clean. Very friendly and efficient staff. Room service or any other requests were usually taken care of within 5-10 mins after requested. Food is excellent. There are several restaurants to choose from. We tried all of them within our 7-day stay. None of them is disappointing. Bars are good too. Our favourite is Bar Sole (beside lobby, inside the Elite lounge). Bar tenders Moises and Chulin working there are top class! The only thing not so good is the location. This hotel is far from most popular activities. For example we went to Xelha park one day. The pickup time was so early in the morning 6:30 and it took us more than 2.5 hrs to get there. Overall very good vacation experience. I will recommend it to my friends.

The property was kid-friendly, minus the lack of ramps for strollers. The convenience for food was great, many restaurants with a lot of variety. Room service was quick and you can schedule a time slot for your food to arrive which was very convenient when planning around kids, I felt ordering something I knew they’d eat in the room and then going to dinner was safe so they weren’t hungry and waiting and possibly disappointed. The facility was clean and the staff were really nice.
