Overall, this was a good stay. The room was comfortable & clean. The staff was great. My keycard stopped working. I thought it just needed a battery change.The night clerk picked my lock at midnight. She was very nice & apologetic. But then after that, my keycard kept demagnetizing over & over again. I had to go to the desk up to 8 times to get a new key over & over again. The manager & the desk clerk told me I would get $50 off for the 4 nights I stayed. Well, in the end that didn't happened. I was lied to. I never got mad which I probably should have-then I might have gotten my discount. I had a good stay but just not coming through with a promise is just not right. Do better Bayshore.

One of the better hotels here, but not great

It was expensive to stay here. It was probably one of the better hotels though. Unless you stayed at a bed and breakfast. It needed to be updated. Lots of marks on the walls. Just didn’t feel clean with the old dark carpet and chairs that were dark and padded. It seemed musty too.

The view of Lake Erie was nice but the patio sitting area was full of spiders and cobwebs so we couldn't sit out to enjoy the view.

Rooms were pretty average,beds and pillows were comfortable. Pool area is nice,loved the tiki bar but could use additional staffing sometimes the wait was over 30 min. The Burgers from the little shack out front were amazing!

Good location to stay in Put-in-Bay

It’s a nice resort with a really fun pool right next to the lake. Good location for the island. Only minor complaints are 1. No in room coffee machines and 2. No in-room mini-fridges. Both would be good to have.

The property was very nice, clean and staff was great. If I had to say anything, it would be that there was no coffee maker in the room. That's it, other than that I had a lovely time, staff was so nice and helpful. The tiki bar was awesome and the pools outside were great. No problems. I came on a Wednesday to avoid crowds and problems. I was there prior on the weekend and certain people showed up and caused fights and problems all weekend. This time however was an absolute great time. Thank you.

What you pay per night, is not worth what you get. When we got there, i needed some water. All of the vending machines were broken, there was a sign at the desk saying, we will be back. Had to leave the property to find a bottle of water. Then our ive maker on our floor did not work. Not very clean and no customer service

Not many amenities

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. I always loved it there. The staff is great. However, since it has been under new ownership it seems that they don't even provide the basic comforts that a nice hotel should have. No continental breakfast and the restaurant on premises is closed. There was no coffee maker in the room. You had to go into the lobby and pay at least 3.50 or more for a cup of coffee. The drinks at the Tiki bar were very expensive. No fridge or microwave in the room either. The ice machines and pop machines were out of order on both floors. There were no bath mats in either room that we booked. For such a nice hotel in a beautiful location it seemed like there should have been at least basic amenities. It seems like it is just all about the money now.

Really enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly and very helpful. The view was beautiful and we were able to walk from the hotel to all of the places we wanted to visit. The place was quiet and peaceful. We plan to stay again.
