Verbesserungswürdig: Personal & Service und Ausstattung
The heating did not work for hours (pretty much from check-in to 10pm) despite repeated contact with reception and multiple attempts to fix it. It was winter and the room was uncomfortably cold for most of the afternoon/evening.
There is no personnel on-site so you need to call a hotline. They just said it would be fixed “within an hour”, which didn’t happen. I was told to pick up an extra duvet, which obviously doesn’t solve the problem, given it was negative temperatures in the Swiss mountains. A portable heater was only provided late in the evening and the main heating was finally restored afterwards.
What made it worse was the lack of available staff / support to handle a basic issue quickly. I requested a refund and it was refused. Disappointing handling of a fundamental/basic expectation in a winter hotel stay.
