Room cleanliness gets a ding for a used washcloth hanging on top of the shower rail and a dirty glass on the sink. Overall experience was good. The location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Parking is near, but not included in the stay.

A lovely old property in a wonderful area. However, the check-in process could have been better. They state that staff is on-site until 11:00 pm however, they were gone when we arrived at 10:30. We had checked in online so that was Ok but there was no information regarding the hotel parking. We did find a parking garage around the corner so I worked out. Also, the "deluxe" room we booked turned out to be located on the interior section of the hotel behind the fire escape so there was no natural light coming into the room. For the premium price of the room, this should have been disclosed. We were quite disappointed with the room because of this. On the plus side, it was a large room with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed.

The internet for cable/streaming was terrible. Long pauses and buffering was really bad. I wasnt there to watch TV but the Toronto baseball game was on when we returned for the night and lets just say it was less than ideal.

The Manoir D’Auteil is a first rate boutique hotel in the perfect location to explore the Old City of Quebec on foot. The bilingual staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are charming and comfortable. Breakfast is a plus and the fresh baked croissants are a must have. It is on the expensive side but you really get what you pay for. Ditch the car at the public garage around the corner for a modest $20 a day and hoof it over cobblestones to all the sights and wonderful restaurants in the Old City. So don’t say au revoir, say a toute a l’heure!
