We were given a complementary upgrade to a room with an Ocean view (and larger bed). Brilliant spot for the night!
Clean, friendly, central location and a perfect guest house.
Staff and atmosphere delightful as was the sunny front dining courtyard. Old fashioned comfort and charm and marvellous view from bedroom over 19th C rooftops to the sea. Fabulous location near bech, cafes, museum, PO, Bus stop etc. Forget ensuite bathrooms.
Great hosts ! Nice old pub atmosphere, conducive to meeting people ! Not for all as bathrooms are shared but did not worry me . The restaurant prepares excellent food !
Circa 1902 is the most delightful place to stay in Queenscliff!
The room was clean and most attractive. The contact there with whom I dealt (Sally) was most welcoming and helpful - I couldn't have wished for better!
I'll certainly return to Circa 1902 when I next stay again in Queenscliff.
The staff were gorgeous, the room was great, food at the restaurant was delicious!
Sadly smoking is only outside the property completely... which isnt great first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Also the shared bathroom is fine, they're done the best they can with the space - but a little much sometimes for the price of the stay.
That said - would definitely go back. The staff really made the stay beautiful.
No staff, my friend and i had an "alone in Hogwarts experience ".
It was a wonderful being alone for the night in such an old hotel.
The facilities were fine and the shared bathroom above expectations. Perhaps though a light could be left on over the stares for arrival.
We are hoping for a repeat trip next year.
