1 star Stayed at Hotel Bonifaz in Guatemala. Booked a double room listed for four people, after coming back from dining the person at the front desk made a bog deal about us being 4 people. They added an extra charge upon checking out . Very disappointing and unprofessional — double-check your bill before leaving and also make sure you give them detailed information about who is staying in the room.

Very busy part of town, lots of cars and city noises. Not many dining options for local food, many fast food options available. We should have done more research on this.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff very friendly. BUT there aren’t any elevators. Only stairs. We were on the fifth floor. Other than that it was great. Great breakfast also!

Fabulous, very comfortable

Internet worked great, excellent shower, good breakfast, water available all the time, fabulous service. At elevation, climbing up the stairs to the fifth floor was honestly a challenge, but worth it.

I love the location because allows us to participate and enjoy the ambient of the central park, been part of the Xelas history is also amazing, unfortunately some of the front desk employees are a little bit hesitant to help/accomodate the needs of the guest, breakfast buffet will be awesome, but overall good experience!
