Convenient and delightful overnight stop

As in 2016, my wife and I slept very well after a long day travelling (the hotel being again very accommodating of our late arrival). Breakfast offered a very wide choice, buffet-style, regularly replenished. The relaxed approach to checkout was a very helpful start to our short journey to the Brittany coast, at La Foret Fouesnant, to join our family, after spending the morning looking around Quimper.

Hotel Dupliex - Quimper; Good value for money.

A good week's stay. The Dupleix is in need of a little refurbishment, but has secure parking, a brilliant position, and friendly staff. There is no restaurant in the hotel (apart from for Breakfast), although there are plenty of restaurants close by.

Happy in Quimper

Have stayed at this hotel for many years. Situated in the heart of Quimper and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Pleasant reception staff. Rooms nicely decorated, ample storage. Parking garage – a real bonus - accessed from the back of the hotel.

The reason we stayed at the Hotel Dupleix was its central location, just over the river from the Cathedral. The room was adequate although the bathroom and general decor dated - no spare pillows in the room. Good and varied buffet breakfast. From our experience of hotels in France the room was a little expensive.

Veldig lav standard men god beliggenhet.

Hyggelig service, men fremstÄr noe uprofesjonelt. Ingen av de som jobber der snakker eller forstÄr engelsk. FÞrste rommet vi fikk var urent, og det var like flaut for meg Ä klage pÄ det som for resepsjonisten Ä hÞre om det. Lav standard i hele bygget og rundt. Was not able to get access to my room due to night staff unable to fix the key. Had to spend the night finding a new hotel where everything was fully booked. Able to receive full refund and apology from manager efficiently, but left a bad impression from the night prior. Need better communication and service from night staff, and message that special steps need to be taken if coming in later in the evening.
