I have stayed here twice and both times the rooms have been very clean and the staff have been friendly and helpful.
The property sits right on the edge of Lake Fork in Texas and has a boat ramp and bait shop right on the premises.
Never got checked in. I told the rude employee my name and she barked she didnât have anything for my last name. Thinking it was a schedule mistake I left. Then she called later to ask if I was checking in. The room somehow got booked in my first name. Had she tried to assist me, maybe we could have figured it out
Check-in was smooth and easy. Beds were awful and had some sort of plastic on them...rock hard. TV was LCD but a too small and the remote was tethered to the end-table, indicating that their normal patronage are thieves. Only stayed two nights and the maids forgot to give us towels the 2nd day. I'm not that picky but can't recommend this place.
The information said the beds were queen size but they were actually full size beds. Which was a problem for my brother and I to share. The parking situation was horrible. There is not enough parking spots and power outlets to park a truck and boat.
The room was clean and comfortable . Not a four star hotel but thatâs not why you go to lake Fork. Itâs right by the water with two boat ramps very close. The breakfast in the store was good and they have everything you need. For me it was a great place to stay at a good rate. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away and fish.
The first morning, I was awoken at 7:30 with loud knocking at my door. I had to get up and answer the door. The person on the other side of the door said they would come back. They never did, even though I put the maid service sign on the door. They never came for 3 days. This is just a plain Jane motel with no frills. Perfect for fishermen, but not for a female.
