VILLA MUORICA - RAGUSA AREA
Exclusive country property with private swimming pool located in the heart of the province of Ragusa, a UNESCO world heritage site. Blending harmoniously into the rural landscape, Villa Muorica is surrounded by a large natural park, framed by characteristic dry stone walls and boasting a magnificent swimming pool with a solarium. Recently restored, the property has preserved its original charm and rustic simplicity and at the same time is in itself an art studio.
The villa is an ideal base for exploring the south-east Sicily: from the delightful baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Modica, Noto and Syracuse to the characteristic fishing villages of Punta Secca, Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Portopalo and Marzamemi, renowned for their beautiful golden beaches and from the archeological sites at Kamarina and Cava d’Ispica to the Vendicari nature reserve.
The property is composed of a main house and an annex.
The main house develops over two floors.
On the ground floor we find a large living room with ornamental fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor we have one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and small terrace, one double bedroom, one separate bathroom with shower, a bedroom with French bed (suitable for 2 children or one adult; in the loft).
The annex is composed of one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and an art studio.
Outside, we have a large and private swimming pool (14 x 5m; 0.20 – 1.9m deep; open from 01.04 to 31.10.) with sun lounges and seating areas.
