Our stay was absolutely wonderful. This property is incredibly inviting in a picturesque setting. It’s decorated with lovely touches of the west and was fully stocked with most anything you’d want or need. It was the perfect retreat after taking in all the sites the area has to offer. We enjoyed all the little touches Lana included and being able to find comfort in visiting with the horses and pets.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

This luxurious ranch setting is amazing destination for a romantic getaway. Sunsets falling across the rolling pastures, horses just outside your door, the gourmet kitchen, and a beautifully appointed master suite -- these are just a few of the amazing features of this property. Highly recommend!

Great getaway vacation!

The house is very inviting and comfortable. The house is fully stocked including little treats from the owner. I would highly recommend this house for any couple who wants to enjoy a getaway and have all of the comforts of home.

Best VRBO Ever

First, the property was perfectly located for touring Custer, Crazy Horse, Mt Rushmore & Badlands. At the same time, it was convenient to amenities of Rapid City. Second, the home was new, clean and very, very tastefully decorated. No need was overlooked. The setting was bucolic and peaceful, probiding a respite after touring all day. We’ve stayed at home-aways for ladt 10 yrs in many states. This one was The Best!

Our Home Away from Home

You want to stay HERE! We felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door! Everything was exactly as it is pictured. The entire space is decorated beautifully and has every possible amenity you could want or need. Having the washer and dryer allowed us to bring just carry-on bags as we were able to do laundry at the house. The convenient yet quiet location is perfect for exploring Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Devil's Tower, Custer State Park, The Badlands and so much more! If I could build my dream vacation space, this would be it. Comfortable, cozy, and charming. We loved it! Why stay in a hotel when you can have all the comforts of home on your vacation? If I could give it ten stars, I would. Thanks, Lana for great communication and ease of check-in and out.

Fantastic property with convenient location

This property is a great location to quickly get anywhere in the hills and surrounding areas. It’s extremely clean and well taken care of. Bed is very comfortable and provided a great nights rest. We loved having the garage connected right to the house. We would definitely book here again in the future!

Relaxing weekend after college graduation

The property was fantastic - proximity to Rapid City was perfect, the home was very clean, and this was a super relaxing stay after a busy semester. We loved the “movie night” candy stash and the beautiful fireplace the most! For a very cold week in SD, we were super cozy in this rental (bed was so comfy too!). I would suggest that only 2 adults sleep comfortably, but otherwise an awesome stay. The horses outside welcomed us every morning and the warm parking stall for our vehicle, gated property, and modern security system for the house made us feel safe during our visit. We would love to stay again in the summer when the weather is nice and we can do more traveling in the hills! The great location between Rapid City and the tourist attractions in the Black Hills will be perfect for summer traveling too!
