If a person can not go to the Calgary Stampede, consider staying at Park Hill where the morning breakfast is a super dupper high quality Stampede breakfast -- actually much better than any stampede breakfast the Calgary hosts that we have had over the past 40 years. Plus the beds at Park Hill and very comfortable and you really get a great sleep

Hotel was dirty. Floors needed to be vaccumed and there was garbage in our room. Chair and desk tops had crumbs on it. We cleaned it ourselves as staff said they wouldn’t re clean room when we asked. Won’t stay here again. Only 2 bath towels in bathroom. No hand towels. Hair in the shower too.

We absolutely loved the full breakfast that was included. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was great, lots of restaurants nearby. Was not happy about the lack of cleaning in the room. I've seen (and left) worse, but the room was simply not being cleaned. We stayed for a week, the garbage was changed only a couple of times, the bed linens were never changed, the toilet lid was never cleaned underneath, there was hair (not ours) found in multiple places (bathroom, table tops) and the rug was either not vacuumed or the vacuum doesn't work. We did have fresh towels everyday.

The Room was very spacious and staff super welcoming. The air conditioning/heat works well. The hotel needs remodeling as it is very old. The carpet has lots of staines, and they sill have carpert on the emegency staircase with carpeted baseboards. The wallpapers also is a bit ancient. The room was cleaned ok but it could be improved (I found a used qtip behind the side table). Overall my stay was satisfying and I would recommend for short stays in Red Deer.
