Large, comfortable room and bed. Satisfactory for one overnight. Minor snags; TV remote didn't work, only one bath towel in a double room, pub kitchen closes at 9p.m.

Recent stay

I recently stayed here for 5 nights on a work trip. Unfortunately my room was a bit dirty, it has food crumbs and wrapper's on the floor just at the edge of the bed. It also had a pull out sofa/bed in the room to, which had some questionable marks on the cover that I did not want to go anywhere near!! The only member of staff I saw when I checked in was very helpful and friendly. I didn't eat at the hotel but the menu looked ok.

Good Hotel Room

Great stay for the price. Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet. I was pleased that there was a fan in the room which was needed in the hot weather. Picnic tables outside so we could sit and enjoy the weather if we didn’t want to go in the pub. The only downside was the breakfast. Worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. The milk had gone off which was on our cereal. No apology or offer to replace. The cooked breakfast was barely warm. My advice is stay at the hotel but go elsewhere for breakfast.

Convenient location

Friends reunion who have travelled from all parts of the country. Excellent location near to main arterial routes, lots of parking, good bar, super food and a lovely room. Overall excellent value for money.

In a pleasant, semi-rural location on the outskirts of Redditch. Felt safe, plenty of room to park and was generally peaceful and quiet. Check in was easy and the room itself was clean welcoming. The woodwork to the exterior of the property is starting to look a bit shabby but all in all a pleasant location. The one negative point is that I booked a double room for single occupancy and this was changed by the property to a twin room prior to my arrival. There was no mention of the change of room type when I checked in and I only found out when I entered the room. Not a big deal as I was travelling alone but some acknowledgement of the fact that the room had been changed without reference back to me would have been appreciated. Would stay again in the future. 😀😀
