Staying here with a pet was made easy by the staff and areas to walk my dog. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from check in to check out. The only issue I had was that the refrigerator did not keep food cold or even cool. The staff offered to have someone look at it but i declined. My wife is funny about people in the room.

Our room was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great--hot and cold selections. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfectly located to go to Rehoboth or Lewes.

Great Lewes Getaway

Great location, not too far from Rehoboth and Lewes. Walking distance to Nicola Pizza. Staff was helpful and courteous, included breakfast was outstanding. Plenty of parking.

The front desk staff are excellent, housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Did not keep to schedule, had to ask for room to be cleaned , twice. We were there for 8 nights. I expected way better. Location is fine, pets in the food area is a problem.

We checked in around 10 pm. The hostess was polite and informative and informed us about breakfast in the morning. When we got to our room on the 3rd flr, the room was spacious, updated with big flat screen tv beds were good too. I personally liked the updated shower in the bathroom. We checked out sun morning and had no issues with our stay. A $30 incidental charge was put on our card but came off a few days afterwards. Would recommend to anyone and will likely book here again.

I really like the Lewes Hyatt and the staff. My only two criticisms are: 1) They desperately need a traffic light at the intersection of Savannah Rd and Old Orchard Rd. 2) There is a nice bike trail only a short distance from the hotel; however, there are no bike racks at the hotel (although the hotel next door has several) and it's dangerous to cross the road to get to the trail (see #1)

Plenty of room for our family of 4. Having a kitchenette with small children is a must for us. Continental breakfast is also great before heading to the beach. The bar had a limited menu but just enough that it had something for us to grab a quick bite to eat late one evening.

I will always stay here

I use some PTO at the beach every year. I've stayed at a few places but this was by far the best. Every person I interacted with, who earns their living there was friendly, went above and beyond. Great location for not being tied down to one area - I stayed 3 nights and explored Towers, Henlopen, Rehoboth, etc. All within 15-20 min of hotel. VERY clean, no smells, great breakfast atmosphere. Pool was my favorite - very large/long pool for a hotel. If I were pressed to say anything negative, it would be that I prefer more shower pressure, but honestly that's all I can come up with. Great hotel.

Overall the experience was good. One thing which I didn't like at all was the breakfast. We stayed there for 2 nights and on both the days there ran out of some of the breakfast items. This was a paid meal.
