Awesome house on the beach

This is the closest house in north Rehoboth to the beach and boardwalk. You walk across the street to the beach entrance and across the street to the boardwalk. House is spacious with 4 decks to overlook the ocean. Very clean with new amentities.

Perfect getaway

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday while there with friends. The house has amazing views of the beach, so much space for everyone to hangout. Perfect location, close to so many restaurants and short Uber ride to Dewey.

Wonderful house and location!

We loved our stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable for 2 families of 5. We enjoyed the view and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. The location is also perfect! We loved being able to walk right onto the boardwalk and walk to all the fun attractions. We would highly recommend and definitely come back!

The absolute best beach location

I can’t believe I found this last minute ocean front beach beauty through VRBO. When it popped up I had to have it. I started out only looking for a few days to get away but ended up inviting family to this 5 bedroom oceanfront. Although I had an accident and couldn’t make the trip my son and grandsons were texting me every day and sending pictures. They said it was awesome. We hope we can do it again next year. Thank you VRBO!

Perfection!

Having never been to Rehoboth, I didn't know what to expect. This location is PERFECT. Easily and safely walkable to beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. The beach is less crowded on this end. The home is beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. Communication with the agency was awesome- they were always quick to respond to questions as I planned our last-minute trip. We will always look to return to this property when we return to the area.

Great Beachfront Vacation Spot

We had a great week there for my 40th birthday! Views of the beach right from the house, and very walkable to the boardwalk and lots of fun shops and restaurants. The part of the beach nearby was a lot quieter than the part down by Rehoboth Avenue.

Great House and Location, but


The house is great for large groups, the floor plan comfortable and most bedrooms have their own nice bathrooms. That and the fact that the location can’t be beat means we’ve rented this property multiple times. Still, one can’t help being annoyed at some of the glaring things lacking here for the money they charge - even in the off (dead) season. Your contact is an impersonal rental company. You must bring your own sheets and towels or pay another four benjamins to have them dropped at the door in a big bundle so you can make the beds yourself using the old crappy pillows and bedspreads not washed since God knows when. Also your own garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. This is ridiculous and inappropriate for a high end property and especially at the prices they charge. We got there late to find that this year the ice maker was inoperable - they didn’t bother to let us know that or even supply any ice trays, uh thanks for that. The furnishings, beds, lamps etc are old and shabby, the tv is also crap and could easily and cheaply be upgraded. The location and size command the high price so they take advantage of that and phone the rest in. A few changes to their “policies”, furnishing upgrades and attention to detail are warranted at the price they command.

Wonderful home and great location!

We stayed at 36 Surf for Thanksgiving week with our extended family. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, perfect location and had everything we needed to make a lovely Thanksgiving. We all found the beds to be extraordinarily comfortable (unlike other reviewers). We hope to be back!

Beautiful but some small issues

The property was lovely and you can tell a lot went into certain spaces to ensure it felt luxurious. My negatives is that the mattresses in the rooms were poor quality. The bathroom was luxurious but the beds felt shaky, stiff and on the cheaper end. Also there were a great deal of rules for the property. I am familiar with renting spaces and this one felt that we couldn't really relax due to all the rules that were in place. Plus the amount of cleaning expected at checkout was more that I had experienced in other rentals. Check out and check in had a great deal of NO EXCEPTIONS but that might be because you are renting from a large company. Views were beautiful and the kitchen was decently stocked. The bathrooms were beautiful and the patios were well furnished.

Location, location, location!

You really can’t beat this place - the location is just off the boardwalk, with easy access to the beach and everything in Rehoboth! Plenty of room for multiple families and lots of space to entertain!

We stayed Wednesday through Sunday. The house has the most beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach. And the restaurants are walkable too.
