We loved almost everything about The Avenue Inn: The staff was great, the building smelled really good, they had a wine social, milk and cookies at 8 p.m., and a really nice restaurant. One suggestion: a staff member should go to the pool at the start of the adult swim hour and make sure there are no lingering children.

Hotel was clean and comforting. The employees were extremely helpful. You can also use the facilities after you have checked out until 3pm so we were able to take a last soak in the hot tub before heading home. Also - there are showers in the changing rooms so you can wash away the sand before you leave.

Our group of 3 stayed at the Avenue II building, which was close to the main hotel. This was a result of my 3 bed accommodation. I was concerned because of a bar next to the building and requested a room on the opposite site of the bar. Much to my surprise, there was absolutely NO noise during the night! Our room was comfortable and spotless upon arrival and the main hotel amenities were available to us. While 2 of us went shopping one day, another stayed behind to relax at the pool, steamroom, and hot tub. The breakfast choices were plentiful and there was a restaurant attached to have a drink in the evening hours. We definitely enjoyed the wine and cheese hour from 5pm to 6pm and chocolate chip cookies and milk offered at 8pm. All 3 of us agreed that a return trip needs to be made for a girls weekend next year!

We stayed in Avenue II and we had no issues with the Purple Parrot noise. Of course maybe it's different in the summer but with the air in the room it would muffle any noise anyway. The beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms super clean. Breakfast was very nice also. We may be back off season again!

We loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and the location is just a block from the beach. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage at their spa and that was a wonderful relaxing experience. The complimentary full breakfast, evening happy hour and nightly baked cookies was a big plus. We can’t wait to go back!
