Stoffelhäusl in Reith im Alpbachtal is the oldest preserved miner’s house from the mining era on Reither Kogel—over 500 years old and lovingly renovated in 2010/11. This two-storey holiday home (approx. 90 m²) accommodates up to 4 guests and features a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower.
As a historic house, Stoffelhäusl has a unique charm: a rustic tiled stove, original furnishings, and slightly lower ceilings due to its age transport you to another era. Taller guests (from approx. 180 cm) should note the lower ceiling heights, especially upstairs and in the bedrooms.
Enjoy the mountain scenery of the Alpbachtal to the fullest in the private garden with table, bench, and sun loungers. A barbecue and fire bowl invite you to spend relaxing evenings outdoors. Four bicycles are available for your excursions. Amenities include heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, hairdryer, bed linen, and towels. Homemade bread, herbs, and jam are offered. A baby cot is available on request, and there are 2 parking spaces.
Nearby you’ll find Matzen, Neumatzen, and Lichtwehr castles as well as the Kropfsberg castle ruins. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
Stag/hen parties, parties, and similar events are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding.
