We travel into Reno for a swim meet in the fall and stayed at this property before. This year we specifically looked for this property’s availability as it is in a quiet neighborhood. The host has good communication throughout the booking, checking-in and checking-out process.

Beautiful home, perfect location. My husband and I traveled to Reno to visit family. This riverside home was perfect. Very clean, large living room, fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. We felt at home during our 5 night stay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening and listening to the river. Very relaxing. Our host Jermey was perfect, everything went smoothly from check in to check out. If we travel back to Reno we will definitely stay again.

Week on the River

We had a great week enjoying the river and Reno. The place was great. The Dickerson location is itself cool but it is a bit of a walk to get to the bridge to the south side of the river or downtown. But if the location works for you it is a great place!

Sweet comfortable Getaway

My wife and I stayed for over 3 weeks. It was perfect for us. Centrally located, right on the river, nice neighbors, really started to feel like home. Place was clean and well stocked. Jeremy was a great host and responded quickly with any questions we had. Definitely will stay again.

Awesome stay

We stayed for 3 days during ski week. The home was immaculate. The owner has handled even the most minor details and ensured the stay was comfortable. Two bedrooms with an attached bath were very convenient for us. It's next to the river, which was very comforting. Easy access to Truckee with a 30-minute drive. We will likely come back again in the summer.

Homebase for Reno & Lake Tahoe

Lovely, spacious home with the Truckee flowing in the backyard. Great location, next to a beautiful park and beautiful neighborhoods. Can’t recommend a better place to stay in Reno!

Wonderful backyard paradise

We were in Reno for my daughter’s swim meet and wanted a nice quiet place to go back to nightly. This checked all the boxes and she enjoyed the yard and river in the afternoon after her meet was done. Definitely would stay here again when she swims in Reno.

Tranquil Stay on the River

The home was cozy and perfect for our 5-day stay. Back yard was huge and we loved the sight and sound of the Truckee River. The Host (Jeremy) made the check in process seamless, and was very responsive to the very few inquiries we had. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Reno.

Surprising interior!

I don't generally leave reviews, but this particular property definitely deserves comment! Most of the other reviews comment on the location by the river and that is certainly true. Not being familiar with Reno, we were a bit concerned as we were driving up to the property; however, once we entered the premises any concern disappeared. We've stayed in our fair share of VRBO's but I will say this was my favorite here in the US. Hands down! Sign me up, I'd move in! The unit has been recently renovated and everything inside is clean, new and tastefully done--the furniture, the artwork, everything. Also, the owner leaves the most professional information/instruction binder I've ever seen in a rental. For those concerned about beds, these are new memory foam mattresses and they were very comfortable. I prefer a soft mattress and have shied away from memory foam, but this changed my mind! For those concerned about noise with the train tracks being close by, we didn't find it to be a problem. We are "early risers" and I think the first train went by around 6:30 am. We had the windows open so we heard it, but with windows closed it wouldn't have been too noticable. My compliments to the owner--well done and VERY much appreciated!!!

Outstanding Space for a relaxing weekend!

Super clean and spacious layout; stocked with almost everything you would need; Great communicative and helpful host; Lush green grass lawn with access to the Truckee river; easy location; great neighbors! Our well planned weekend took a turn when our dog was injured just days before so we had to take it slow and relax at the home most of our stay... which thankfully was more than comfortable! Gloria's cafe is great for brunch and within walking distance.. I was surprised how much cooler it was in the backyard due to the river... also, the AC works great while inside... Would definitely stay again when in Reno! Thanks Jeremy!

Charming and quite

My two sons and I really enjoyed our stay here! We travel to Reno often for baseball tournaments so it was really nice being closer to the park he plays at. The house is tucked back in by the river and it was incredibly peaceful sitting on the back patio at night. I mostly enjoyed how clean it was and loved the way the place is decorated. Felt like home away from home!

Perfect for our stay

Everything about the place was great. Just wanted to point out a few things we really took notice of. First, we thought there were no pictures of the second bedroom so we were a little bit nervous about what that was going to be like. Turns out there were, the two bedrooms just look very similar and were both great. Second, we couldn't tell exactly how the house and the river were situated. Turns out, that from the back deck, you can walk about 40-50 feet across the common grass area and there is the riverbank. You can actually walk right into it. The river bank is lined by the trees you can see in the photos. So you are amazingly close and can get your feet wet if you want to. Lastly we were both impressed by the air conditioning which keep the house cool and did so without any noticeable noise. On the subject of noise in general there was none during our stay. Seemed to be a very quiet area. All in all, we both really enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again if ever in the Reno area in the future.

Wonderful Base Location for our Family

My family loved staying here, the house is beautiful and bigger than expected with everything we needed to be comfortable. We were able to take off for baseball tournament during the day and come back to cook a meal and play in the river in the evening! Definitely recommend this place and Jermey as a host, we hope to stay here again in the future!
