This is a European style hotel with small rooms and very small bathrooms. Location was good. People were very nice. Good breakfast included. Lots of hand made wooden furniture and good local restaurant attached.

Cottage was not really what we expected, very small with VERY poor quality mattresses. It was fun atmosphere but definitely not worth the price. And the sulfur in the hot water nearly made us sick (only location we stayed at with this issue). In our four nights in Iceland the glamping site near Selfoss had far and away the best beds and ambience for a lot less cost

The rooms are noticeably smaller, which is typical for the area, but the significant lack of exhaust or ventilation is a major concern. The room becomes quite suffocating after a shower. Additionally, I had an unpleasant encounter with a staff member during breakfast. When I tried to refill my plate before 10 AM, while the salad bar was still open, their behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Guests should not be treated in this manner. On a positive note, the lobby was pleasant, and other staff members were friendly and helpful.

This is based on viking theme and very well done..our unit was for 5, very cute cottage..very clean. Restauraunt next door. Between downtown rekayvik and the airport. Very pleasant lady at desk. We upgraded our room for an extra persin easily. Price very competitive compared to other places. Breakfast included ! Definetly recommend.

Lovely place to stay. We were in a cabin which was great. Had private bathroom and there were tea/coffee facilities in the room. Viking theme was fun!

Our stay was just fine. The cabins were tight, but ample for us. We had expected another bed due to description of our room, but was one short. That was ok though, as we were only looking to spread people out a bit. The sulphur smell in the water caught us off-guard, as we've never experienced that before. It became a family joke though, and all had a good laugh. The charm of this location was plenty, and we all enjoyed the provided breakfast.
