The location and size of the apartment is what really stands out on this place. You can easily walk to anything! Nightlife in the surrounding areas does make it loud at night but we were aware of that and used earplugs. Plus the parking spot was a plus

Great Location!!!

Thingholt was in a great location close to bus pick-up spots for tours and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I liked staying in their apartment units. Could do my own laundry amd the grocery store was less than two blocks away. This would be my preferred place to stay if I were to come back. My only dissapointment was they did not have a dinner restaurant on premises for those nights after a long day of touring.

It was a very nice accomodation in a convenient part of town. Only complaint is the VIP benefit was very restrictive--we thought it was for food and drink any time in our stay, but it only applied to breakfast(and not to alcohol), so we didnt use it..

We loved our stay here. Loved the apartment style.We could make meals in if chose to or use the amenities of the hotel across the street or anywhere else if we wanted to go out. Was close to everything in the centre hub. Staff was lovely. Only con I would say is the lack of parking. There are only 4, and there’s no guarantee it will be there when you come back, if you are lucky enough to get one at all. But having said that, we would still stay here again.

We arrived early. We were told we would have our room at 14:00. It was not ready. We told them we would wait in the lobby (visible from the front desk) and please let us know when it would be ready. They did not. We waited until 15:00, the normal check-in time, and they had a room for us. No one ever let us know. With that said, we had a good stay and would stay again.

I LOVED these apartments. They are centrally located to the main streets as well as all the main bus routes. Felt like a cozy little home in the middle of everything. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful location in Reykjavik. The staff was so nice and helpful. The property was wonderful and very spacious. The one issue was the images on Hotels.com weren’t very reflective of our room/apartment. There seems to be a lot of variety and while ours was great, it was not quite as expected.

3 day break

The 1 bd unit was great for our 3 night stay, particularly as it was right in the city centre and close to everything. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of things that we weren’t happy with - the dishwasher didn’t work, so we just washed up and the bed was a bit hard for us and could only be accessed from the foot of the bed. It saved space but anyone less mobile could have access problems. Also, you could only watch TV from the bed. We would still recommend this apartment.
