A wonderful stay in Rhosneigr!

Stone's Throw was a lovely place to stay for our Anglesey holiday. The house was perfect in every way and only a few minutes walk from the most beautiful beach.

“A lovely place for a restful break”

This was our second stay at Stones Throw and third time staying in the village of Rhosneigr. The property is spacious, well equipped and we feel a home from home. Very peaceful and quiet. It’s literally a five minute walk to the beach and local amenities. Can recommend. Just struggled with key safe, we found it tricky to open, this was reported.

A lovely house for the beach!

We had a lovely stay at Stones Throw, literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and the amenities of Rhosneigr! Really spacious accommodation and had all the essentials for a short break. We would definitely recommend this accommodation, mainly for location but also as a good, comfortable base for a family.

Great holiday

This was our 2nd year at the this house and once again we had a fantastic holiday. We have already booked for next year and got a 10%discount.The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to town. The only complaint I can make is it desperately needs a washing line Thanks Paul

Family getaway

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Stones Throw, the property was much bigger than it looks on the pictures, everything was extremely clean , the beds were very comfortable which always makes a huge difference when away from your own. The house is just a short stroll away from the best beach in Rhosneigr and as we took a trolly to transport all our stuff it took no effort. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here , Anglesey holiday letting were very professional and kept us informed of everything in a prompt manner.

Lovely stay

Stone’s Throw was perfect for our needs with 3 young children the no fuss yet stylish furniture & lay out worked well. The en-suite air vent was noisy when the gales came so that could do with replacing but other than that the nest heating was very efficient & an abundant amount of hot water with great pressure. Location to Broad beach is perfect & easy to get to station road & main beach with all the cut throughs . A lovely place to stay

Beautiful Bungalow

A beautiful bungalow in a stunning area of Anglesey. The property was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Ideally situated just a short walk from the beautiful beach and local shops and numerous places to eat. Great selection of crockery, pans etc if you wanted to eat in. We had a slight issue with a bedroom door handle but this was dealt with immediately. We enjoyed a wonderful week.

Good holiday

This really is a lovely house,comfortable,homely,plenty of space. However we did show Anglesey several things that we felt could enhance it,we also emailed Anglesey lettings on our return home with these,who promised to speak to and pass to the owners with them hopefully actioning them. We have already booked for 2 weeks July 2023.

Another great visit

Our family of 5adults and our grandson had a fabulous 2 weeks at stones throw.although maintenance was carried out during our stay,lawn cut,hedge trimmed,garden wall re plastered,all the guys were very polite and the works did not intrude in any way. Several reviews have said,as we have,that a washing line would really be of assistance. All in all another great holiday at stones throw.

Stone's Throw

Spacious and light accommodation. Lots of cooking facilities available. We had a great time as it was so close to the beach which was ideal with the children and the glorious weather. Only one tiny thing, the coffee machine was not working. Everything else was perfect. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Oyster Catcher where dogs are welcome. Also the ice cream shop in the high street make fantastic flavoured ice cream which we enjoyed after a long dog walk. Also Jane Bell is a shop on the high street that has paintings of the local area and beautiful cards. It’s a great place to stay if you like outdoor activities and water sports.

Lovely stay at Stones Throw

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Stones Throw. The property is spacious and very well equipped. Really comfortable beds and sofa. Absolutely brilliant location for the beach (5 mins away) The only negative was the heating
.. The heating is controlled by nest, which we have at home so very mindful of how it works! The heating did kept going down to 10 degrees, not sure if the owners do this? Or whether it has multiple timers on the settings to knock the heating off if people were to leave it on?? This would not put us off going back !! Had a lovely meal at the oystercatcher which is in walking distance. Rosneigr is lovely ❀

Nice property in good location

A party of 6 adults and a 1 year old. Property was clean, but not sparkling. Rug has a number of marks and could do with cleaning, especially when there is a young baby crawling around. Sadly, the fridge door was not remaining closed and consequently we did have to throw away some food, as we didn’t notice this until the next day when the fridge was warm. We did report to AHL via the message service and had to use the travel cot to keep the door closed. House is well equipped and outside space is ok. Location is excellent with an easy stroll to beaches, cafes and restaurants. The utility room houses the washing machine and boiler. There is no ventilation in the utility room and on opening the door the smell from the oil boiler is quite strong. A small vent would help this.

Lovely bungalow clean and spacious

Stones throw bungalow was a lovely accommodation and the welcome pack was greatly apprecialted especially as we didn't have a food delivery untill later in the evening. We loved he open plan layout. The location was perfect as it was so close to the side of the bay we prefer. A couple of issues were we saw a rat on the patio where there was the open patio doors. This was the only form of ventilation to the open plan area as the kitchen window was locked and no visible key. Also the skylight may have been used but there were no poles to open them. The master bedroom only had patio doors so we could not open these too and also safety during the night. Both bathrooms had issues. The ensuite shower holder was not firm so the shower water went everywhere. The other bathroom the seal was not working so the water from the shower was not contained in the bath hence it went over the floor despite being very careful. Both bathrooms smelt of damp.

Fab house, great location

Great house with fantastic space. All new modern facilities and lovely comfy furniture. Fab location for the beach and all the facilities of the village. Really great to see all the cafes and restaurants opening up - we sampled Notos and Mezza 40 and will definitely be back.
