Getting there
By road: Take the A1 as far as Scotch Corner, turn off to Richmond and take A6108, then B6270 to Reeth. At the top of Reeth turn right between the Buck Hotel and public toilets signposted Langthwaite and Barnard Castle. Follow the road for 100 metres and you will see a right turn Hill Close. Stony Thwaite is directly opposite the entrance to Hill Close.
By Public Transport: The nearest train station is Darlington. You will then need to get a taxi to Reeth.
