The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return. The only thing that wasn't 5 stars is the food. It was still good, but it didn’t quite match the exceptionally high standard set by the hotel, rooms, and bar service.

Our room was excellent. Lovely and clean. Large bed, Nespresso coffee, clean bathroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The place was quite large with a lovely large fireplace , and the fire was lit as the weather was quite chilly when we stayed. This place will be even better in summer as there is a lovely outside area. Very dog friendly with dog hamper provided in the room. We will definately stay again.

Wonderful stay

Had a wonderful stay in the Bedford Arms, the pub is beautiful and has a lot of character to it. The team were all incredibly helpful and welcoming as well plus great food for dinner and breakfast - highly recommend!
