Very happy with the stay in Riposto. Everything as advertised and our host was extremely helpful and organized. I'd recommend this place for everyone!

Spacious and pleasant property with 2 balconies

A few very important suggestions: First, there is a steep climb to the living area from the street, which is fine but there is only a flimsy piece of rope for support and NO BANNISER. Some of the supports holding the rope to the wall have come off. The whole set up is DANGEROUS and someone will have a major injury as a result. I would recommend immediate rectification for safety reasons. It also needs to be made cleat that the upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a small circular staircase that are only suitable for active people (which was fine for us) The dishwasher is unplugged, un-usable (not that we needed it), but was nothing less than disgusting inside as it had never been cleaned, as neither had the oven. There was a microwave, but nowhere to plug it un where it was positioned. The owner was very hesitant to supply essential items: no paper in the kitchen, 1 tea towel and supplied one roll of toilet paper, when asked, for 8 people for 8 days). It is essential keep a healthy supply of toilet paper when there are 2 bathrooms, as people who stay on the property are unlikely to souvenir a supply, and it is part of their responsibility to supply. He was very promptly responsive to requests, but it is hard to continue to request one roll at a time so we went and bought what we needed. The pillows on all beds are old and flat and need to be replaced as it is uncomfortable to sleep on these. Similarly, linen is old and not becoming of the property. Having said these recommendations, we enjoyed the position, parking was easy and we were happy to stay there, regardless.

Beautiful accommodation in Giarre marina

Salvo was a great host and the marine-themed house was very comfortable, spacious, and had lovely appropriations. We stayed in March, and it was a bit chilly in Sicily, and the house was very warm, for which we were grateful! We arrived late, and Salvo was very kind to meet us in person and make sure we had everything we need. He was very communicative and helpful.

Very spacious, great terraces & exceptional value

Really enjoyed our few days here. The terraces with harbour views are great for enjoying the sunshine & relaxing in the evenings - you can see Etna from the top floor too. Very spacious bedrooms & ample living space. The local town clock takes a bit of getting used so folks who enjoy peace and quiet may struggle. Having said that, the seaside town is quite charming & you cannot deny it is very affordably priced for families and groups. We would happily stay again :-)

The apartment was very nice. Owner and cleaning lady went out of their way to welcome us and provided fresh fruit and wine too to make us feel at home. I would recommend the apartment but the city must be falling on hard times.

This is a great place to stay for families. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. It has everything one needs. The host Salvo made sure to greet us personally and that all was as we needed. Would highly recommend this place.

Sehr schön und Super für größere Familien

Tolle Lage , sehr schöne Wohnküche und Terrassen. Gemeinsam sein, aber auch genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Wäre der Priester der Kirche nebenan mit seinen Glocken etwas weniger Extratisch, hätte ich volle 5 Sterne gegeben

Bel endroit!

Bien situé devant la marina. Parfait pour visiter Etna, Catania et Taormina. La maison bien équipée est assez grande pour une famille. Il serait toutefois temps de changer les poêlons qui sont bien usés. Salvo est très dynamique et sympathique, il nous a donné une tonne d’informations utiles. Stationnement facile devant la porte tout au long de notre séjour. À recommander.

Das Haus war auf den ersten Eindruck ordentlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, auch der Gastgeber war sehr nett und hat uns einige gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Essen gehen, gegeben. Jedoch bei unserem Aufenthalt von 1 Woche haben wir festgestellt, dass einiges saniert werden müsste. Sicherungen sind ständig rausgefallen beim gleichzeitigen Föhnen von 2 Personen, Spülmaschine und Backofen konnten wir deshalb auch nicht nutzen. Im oberen Bad lauft das Wasser nicht mehr richtig ab, wurde aber gleich behoben, nur der Geruch blieb im Bad und oberen Stockwerk und war unangenehm. Auch die Küche müsste dringend mal komplett gereinigt werden. Ist ein grosses Haus und macht sicher sehr viel Arbeit das alles zu bewältigen aber es würde sich auch lohnen, denn dann wäre nichts auszusetzen. Die Lage ist gut und ruhig, schöne grosse Terassen mit Grill und es ist auch alles was man braucht vorhanden. Zur Entschädigung für unsere Beanstandungen hat uns der Inhaber 6 Flaschen Wein geschenkt, leider konnten wir sie nicht mitnehmen, da unsere Koffer schon gepackt waren und zu schwer für den Flug gewesen wären. Trotzdem Danke dafür an Salvo!

Voll ausgestattete Wohnung

Die Vermieter überraschten uns mit einem wundervoll gefüllten Obstkorb. Danach wurde die Wohnungsbegehung gemacht, die in allem überzeugte. 2 wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Stockwerke. 2 sonnige Balkone mit Sonnenschutz. Eine wunderbare gefüllte Weintetagere, die zum Selbstkostenpreis verzehrt werden durfte. Nach einer Woche wurden die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche gewechselt. 2 Liegen mit Sonnenschirm waren in einem Lido, etwa 20min zu Fuß entfernt, reserviert fürs Haus. Fürs schnelle Sonnenbaden waren im Haus noch Schirme vorhanden, mit denen konnte man an einen 5min entfernten Strand gehen. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, den die Fam. Ariano noch verschönert hat. Danke, Danke kann man nur sagen.

excellent séjour à Riposto a la casa delle Zammare

Accueil chaleureux de Salvatore et son épouse avec dégustation de vin à notre arrivée, rafraîchissements et panier de fruits à profusion. confort des chambres, terrasses pour se détendre après l'ascension de l'Etna et surtout bravo pour la décoration soignée sur le thème de la mer et du voyage. Situation de la maison très stratégique pour visiter l'est du pays et le mont Etna. Riposto est une bonne halte pour déguster poissons achetés sur le marché et spécialités à cuisiner dans la cuisine de Salvatore. tout était très fonctionnel pour 4 couples. même la vue sur l'Etna sur la terrasse supérieure côté chambre, et vue sur le port et les palmiers de la véranda de la salle à manger. il manquait juste une douche supplémentaire. Bravo à Salvatore !!!!
