The property was clean and well stocked, and it was perfect for our group in terms of beds and amenities. We really liked the location, it was pretty close to Chattanooga and there was another cute little town nearby that we visited. We were a little bummed that the pier in the listing had been taken down, and the outdoor grill is a community grill in the center of everything (not necessarily bad, just a surprise). The photos donât really match the property but it was still nice!
We loved our stay at the cabin! My daughter loved the common area outside. We went walking almost daily. The area was perfect for us to get away but also close to lots of activities. The entire inside of the cabin had been renovated and was beautiful and clean. Because of that the listing didnât accurately describe the setup. This was no problem for us but for someone with a larger family may be misleading. 1 bedroom had 3 single beds instead of a king/queen as mentioned. The living/kitchen area worked for us but seemed like if the cabin was at max capacity the space would be too small with just 1 couch and 1 recliner. We had everything we needed and more! The only âissuesâ we had was there was only 1 thermostat for upstairs and downstairs so at times it was hard to regulate the upstairs temp. We did not use the porches like we wanted to. They were very dirty and outdated and didnât reflect the work done on the inside. The area would be perfect for a family reunion or multi family vacation since there are 5 cabins all in the same area. We would def book again!
The cabin has been upgraded since the photos were taken. All of the flooring, paint, fixtures, countertops and appliances have been upgraded. However seems like they may still be working on finalizing the renovation. We found a few things that didnât work like outlets and ceiling fans and there isnât a single decoration anywhere in the cabin. Management company is super responsive and helpful. Cabin is hard to find in the dark so plan ahead.
Quiet setting with 4 other cabins. Itâs a cabin that shows some wear, but was quite comfortable for our group. Difficult to find the gravel road from the highway. Strict policy on paying for people to be on the property, even those who are not spending the night there. This was a policy I had never encountered before and was not pleased that I had to pay extra just for my grandson, who was not staying with us, to visit.
Cabin was beautiful, beds were a little hard for me but it was very nice and comfortable. We had to let management know that we had a few little pests trying to stay for free. And they said they would take care of it. We left a big skillet for the next user⊠but everything else we needed was there. Iâd stay again.
This cabin was plenty good sized for our family of eight. Make sure to list the qty of your party as this listing charges extra per person after 2 & only provides towels for the number in your reservation. Beds were very comfortable. We were not there long enough to cook however there appeared to be a good supply of kitchen ware plus they provided soaps etc. This house is located in a loop of homes and there is a little pond to visit if you have time. It is very quiet and secluded at the bottom of the forest. Thank you.
Cabin is very clean and spacious. The owners provide all the amenities you need to make your stay pleasant. 15 min to Cloudland Canyon and about 15 to Chattanooga, so a great location-if that is your plan. Some nice local restaurants within a 10 minute drive as well. My friends and I had a great extended weekend.
The house is really worn. A lot of little things were wrong: upstairs shower didnât work, downstairs toilet was broke, blinds in living room didnât work, no dish towels in the kitchen, upstairs porch was filthy and had a lot of spider webs all over, cob webs inside on light fixtures, ceiling fans very dirty. In general it was just worn. It had a stale odor. I think it would be.a great place with just some minor updates and a good cleaning
