The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The vanity for the sink and mirror was about the only nice part to the room. The walls, the floors, the ironing board, the curtains all had major, very visible large stains. Our door also didn't shut fully, and we had to prop a chair against it to feel safe. The only thing holding the door closed was a deadbolt. The door itself had such a major gap and when closed it wouldn't actually be sealed shut. The latch on the inside wouldn't stay latched, it was bent and couldn't be fastened closed. You can see bugs all over the trim on the inside, dead, as they likely, easily can fly into the room via this gap in the door. Not to mention the huge draft coming in, We had to have the heat on blast all night.

I was was treated poorly by the front desk around 8pm. I was very polite upon arrival. I walked in and there were two men having an issue and talking with receptionist and i was in line behind them with my service dog. The men said, “it’s okay she can go ahead of us because they might be awhile”. First he took my debit card for deposit and I politely asked how much it was. He never answered me, just badgered at me that he doesn’t stop to help one for another. The guests even stood up for the fact the let me go ahead. The receptionist was very rude to me because that. His behavior was unwarranted. He then gave me my card back and said rudely, “take your business elsewhere”. I was so quiet and calm and couldn't believe how poorly i was treated. I said, “ sir I don't know why you're being rude to me and you can go help them, they let me go ahead.” He then said “get out or I’ll call the cops.” At no point did i refuse to leave or anything. I kept calm. I left soon as he said go. I actually felt somewhat in danger/shook up. This all happened within 5 minutes. The unlookers looked stunned. I did absolutely nothing wrong to warrant him kicking me out. I was polite even when he was rude to me. If the cops came I would’ve had witnesses and shown he had no reason to be that way to me whatsoever. I never stayed there. And requested refund.

Poor Attention to Details

The person who checked us in was friendly; the person on the front desk in the morning was surly and unapproachable. The door to our room would not close all the way (though we could lock the turning device) and we had a cool breeze and a neighbor's smoke sneaking in during the night. When the trash can was full at breakfast the surly desk person just rolled an uncovered trash can out into the dining area. YUCK!

This hotel is a dump. There are no elevators, front desk staff was unprofessional and in jeans. There was someone asleep on the only piece of furniture in their tiny lobby. A small child was left alone running around in pajamas and watching tv at 12:30 in the morning. The part of the office I could see was dirty and a mess. The ceiling tiles behind the desk and in the office were gross. I left and found another hotel.

The light on the door lock wasn't working, so we couldn't tell when it was unlocked. The floor of the room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet bowl looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. It was covered with pink and black mold. The sink smelled like sewage. We checked out early and told the desk clerk. He said the GM would contact us about our issues, but it's been 4 days and we haven't heard back.
