The space was perfect for us and our two adult children and partner. We all had enough space to spread out or all hang on the couch after a sun filled day to watch the Olympics together. The location was excellent with the lively West Bay around the corner while having our own low key beach and water steps away from our codo. Las Rocas was the perfect next door restaurant and bar with the best happy hour deals and excellent food. Loved our stay!

Best location!

Randy's place is the best location to stay in Roatan. It is right on a secluded beach. It is walking distance to West Bay beach. The water taxi picks you up at the dock next door at Las Rocas dive center. There is a restaurant at Las Rocas next door as well. Everything is so close, yet you have the quiet of not being directly on West Bay beach with the crowds. When we had an issue John the property manager was very quick to respond. I could go on & on. Just don't hesitate & stay here!

Best Location right on the beach!

This is the perfect location if you like to be away from the crowd, but close enough to walk to restaurants and West Bay snorkeling. Just 10 min walk down to the best snorkeling! There is also a small store a short walk away if you need anything. We walked to Gumbalimba Park via the beach and got to hold monkeys and macaws. There is a par 3 golf course (the Black Iguana in west bay) that was fun to play - hot and humid, but we still enjoyed it. great price and they provide the clubs, cart, balls and drinks, as well as transportation to and from the course. The condo was great and Tulio and John were very nice and helpful. Bed in master upstairs very comfortable and appreciated the air conditioners and new ceiling fans. Has new washer and dryer that work great. Bring or buy some laundry detergent as well as shampoo as we did not find any in the condo. The host, Randy, was always quick to answer any of my questions and accommodate my requests. Loved the beaches - gentle waves, easy in sandy bottom and lots of beautiful fish! Roatan prices are cheaper than most Caribbean islands we have been to and the food was very good. We participated in the crab race on Sunday night that they have at Bananarama and we won! Enjoyed the fire dancers also. They do this every Sunday night around 6:30pm. Take water taxi right from Las Rocas dock for $5/person to West end for shopping and more restaurants. We really liked the fresh fruit drinks at Pura Vida. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had the best time!! West Bay beach is a short and easy walk away and West End is a short water taxi away. It shares the beach with a small dive hotel, but most days we were the only two on the beach. You can get a water taxi right from Las Rocas and their restaurant, Trattoria de Piero is so good!! They have great prices and fresh, tasty food. We went there many times for snacks and meals. The condo itself was very spacious and clean. Just like the photos. The pool was being worked on and not available to use while we were there, which was a bit of a bummer. After visiting both West Bay and West End multiple times on our trip, we both agreed this condo has got the best location on island - quiet and away from all of the busy-ness, but close enough to walk or water taxi whenever you want!

ABSOLUTELY would stay here again!

This property is ideal in so many ways! The location is perfect. The condo has its own private beach and it is super close to the action & beauty of West Bay Beach. It worked so well for our family (3 kids in their 20s) because they could choose to chill in the condo or join the activity nearby. The size of the condo was great too. We loved sleeping upstairs with an amazing view & sounds of the water. We had a few issues, yet both John (manager) and Randy (owner) were attentive to making things right quickly. We look forward to staying here again!

A run down condo in a very convenient location. Very close to a good dive school and the beaches of west bay . Pictures are not up to date! Everything run down , shabby and /or not working right . Grill went out of gas after a few minutes. Almost no water coming out of the showers. Well overpriced for what it is.

Great location and beautiful view!

This property was a great location for our family! Pros: Our teen enjoyed exploring the quiet beach and our oldest practically lived in the pool. We enjoyed being on the quiet end of West Bay beach but close enough we could walk to the restaurants, Roa market, and great snorkeling. Prefect for families! You can catch water taxis at Las Rocas dock too. We enjoyed the daily visits from the macaws and hummingbirds. We didn’t have any issues with no-seeums while there. Tulio does a great job of raking the beach and he's super nice too! We had to contact John, the property manager, a few times. He was quick to respond and very nice guy as well! Cons: The villa needs some work. A kitchen cupboard door needs fixing. The upstairs bathroom needs grouting to be finished. Smelled funky so I used the downstairs en-suite shower instead. Which also needs a little work because the water was a bit difficult to turn completely off and there's no ventilation/fan. By the end of our stay, I noticed a some mold. The window blinds in that bedroom were completely broken so we didn’t even attempt to open them to let some light in. Which was a bummer. The screen door in the living room area kept coming off track and had a hole in the screen. Which we attempted to mend a little so bugs wouldn't come in. The place could have been cleaner but we may have rushed the cleaning process because we asked if we could check in a little early. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and my kids didn’t want to leave.

Lovely place in the perfect location

This was my family's 3rd trip to Roatan and we have always stayed in these condos. They are in the best location with the best views and they are large and very comfortable. Randal was really easy to communicate with. When I did have a question, he responded very quickly. The condo has had some nice upgrades since we last stayed in it including some bathroom remodeling which was a great improvement to an already lovely place. My whole family had a lovely time and we can't wait to return. The condo is quite large and is right on a lovely semi-private beach that is well maintained by the caretaker. It feels far away from the West Bay resorts, but is a quick walk to them if you want the restaurants and activities. It is also a short walk to Gumbalimba park and you can see the park macaws flying around in the morning from the condo. My favorite place in the condo is on the deck off of the living room where I can drink coffee and eat the warm banana bread that the banana bread man sells on the beach in the mornings and watch the birds and the gentle movement of the sea. It really is paradise. My whole family scuba dives and my kids completed their open water certification on this trip. We were a short walk to Clearwater Adventures who we dive with. Overall, the location and condition of the condo are excellent and Randal is a great host.

Great Family Time

This property is in the ideal location for a visit to Roatan, easy access to all activity options, restaurants etc. on its own little cove out of the busy West Bay beach, as described by others. We dove with West Bay Divers and highly recommend. The apartment was exactly as described. Randy and John John were both very responsive. Several issues were quickly resolved. We will be back.

Wonderful location

This is a great place if you want to be near West Bay but not in the middle of the tourists. We loved being able to wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise and the ocean while having coffee. John John was extremely helpful whenever we had an issue, and Randy was as well. This is a great place to stay!

Great Location very private and beautiful view

This 3 bedroom condo , 2 story was in a perfect location next to Las Rocas Dive Shop, which made the situation almost perfect. The set up and design of the condo was really well suited to a large group or family visiting. The owner was very nice to work with , there was a problem with the AC units and property manager addressed that quickly, the washing machine unfortunately did not work, but again the owner reached out quickly to address and found that ordering a new one was best. The owner actually remitted money to us, to apologize for the inconvenience, which shows a lot of integrity. Overall, this is a great spot for location being away from the large crowd, which is just a 3 minute walk around the corner. . Snorkeling and kayaking right in front of the unit, barbeque if you need it (just bring swimsuits, tanks, and shorts -thats it! Stock up on snacks, coffee (filters) milk /sandwich stuff, fruit and veggies at Eldon's before y0u get there, it makes it easier than taking taxi to West end. (FYI happy hour is 75 yards away- Winston is the guy that makes great cocktails, and if you want to dive Las Rocas is the best )

Fantastic Location!

Fantastic location on west bay! On the north end of the beach, just north of las rocas. The beach out front is like having a private beach! Within walking distance of everything on west bay, and a short water taxi ride from west end. The place itself was clean, spacious, and just as the listing said. Perfect for a small family or group of friends.

Perfect location

This condo is perfectly situated - private and about 200ft from the main beach. Great space. The primary bedroom upstairs is large with its own balcony. Upstairs also has a laundry and bathroom. Downstairs has two good spaced bedrooms and two bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Living room and dining area. The outside patio downstairs is great. Beds are comfy, internet great. Just a few steps down the stairs straight onto the beach. Watching the macaws every morning in the tree next to us was an extra treat. Loved the pastalito (empanada) man and fresh fruit man who came by each morning. Overall a great stay and would definitely rent again.

Perfect Location
