We have a daughter in college in Rochester and visited for the fall break. The South Wedge location is great -- walkable (when the weather cooperates), close to restaurants, bars and shops and not terribly far from the fantastic Strong Museum. The home is older, so it has its requisite squeaks and creaks in the floorboards, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized and comfortable. The host, Chris, has thought of just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is on a one-way street, but has off-street parking which -- just a warning if you have an oversized SUV -- is like the street: narrow and tight. The host is the most responsive we've ever had with any rental property and has even made YouTube videos for any questions you might have about how things work. There's a nice patio with lights in the back yard, but the uncooperative western NY weather didn't give us a chance to enjoy it. We also didn't partake of the poker table -- maybe next time!
