Very pleasant stay

Three night stay enroute to FNQ. It was a very comfortable stay. We had a corner heritage room which was spacious with a modern ensuite. Fernando’s restaurant was excellent, the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. We plan to stay again on our way back south.

While the room itself was presentable, neat and tidy, the whole stay was marred by unprofessional behaviour of reception staff at check in. Having a room in the building out the back where patrons left the main door open late into the night, did not inspire a feeling a of safety for a solo traveller. Disappointing experience.

The Regent should be your first choice in Rocky!

I highly recommend The Regent to anyone visiting Rocky. I stayed for 3 nights and was so comfortable, slept well, great rooms, good sizes, no noise, great position.
