The description of the property was a âstunning villa.â and there was nothing stunning about it. It is a very outdated dark old house that was very dirty. It has great potential and could be a stunning property if more attention was given to it. The yard was full of weeds. There was something dead by the front door that smelled rotten. The porch is in bad need of a power washing. There were cobwebs in the windows and hanging from the main bathroom ceiling. Lights were burned out, drawers didnât open, etc., etc. I absolutely would not recommend this property until a lot of cleanup was done.
What a little treasure to find when gathering for a declining senior family matriarch. Despite the surrounding urban landscape of Rogers and the resultant street traffic all around, this peaceful oasis of natural beauty and tranquility was a perfect location for our family to gather and remember and share family stories once again.
I always love spending time at the villa. It is such a gem, nestled in a lovely private spot in the middle of town. It is close to everything, yet it is the perfect getaway. The grounds are like being in your own private park and the house is enchanting. I love spending my mornings watching the geese couple play on the pond or the heron catching fish. The house is large, roomy and very welcoming. The moment you walk in the house you feel right at home. It is a wonderful place for large family gatherings or an intimate getaway and has everything you would need. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of sleeping space. The master bedroom mattress had just been upgraded, and it is amazing. It was like sleeping on a cloud. As I said before, I love staying here and I am sure you will enjoy it as well. I would definitely recommend.
Great for family indoors and out. Lots of room to spread out. Loved the formal dining table, as it worked perfect for games. Kitchen had everything we looked for except for a crock pot but my daughter was close by. Kids loved the ping pong table and fishing. Close to everything youâd need. Right in town, but off the beaten path as well!!! Will stay again if we get to go back to Rogerâs.
We had a truly wonderful time at this peaceful country getaway! It was a beautiful nature oasis that was still close to everything in town. The fishing was amazing and the house was huge so everyone had plenty of space! Had fun playing ping pong and lots of outdoor activities but still close enough we could enjoy local attractions. Highly recommend for families and anyone wanting to enjoy some outdoor fun. Owner was very easy to communicate with and sincerely wanted us to have a great time! We will definitely be back and looking forward to it!!
Great place, secluded but still right in the middle of civilization. Some things in the house are a little dated, but I would definitely stay again, the location was great for our trip. Property owner was OUTSTANDING to work with during out stay.
This place is a hidden gem!!!
Would stay again for sure. The owner response quickly to textâs, great communication.
Need a few updates but the over experience is great !!
Country living in the city !!!!!!
This place is a hidden gem. It's off the main road about 300 yards and sits on about 20 acres. While you are less than a mile from the square in Rogers, you wouldn't know it by the amazing landscape. It's close to everything yet quiet. The home is large and very comfortable. Fantastic hosts!
Dissatisfied and Disappointed / Not Worth the Cost
Bate & switch- Filtered photos of the listing do NOT compare to what is seen upon entering the driveway and walking to and through the doors.
Property looks abandoned. Everything is overgrown. Lack of upkeep. Not clean.
Poor plumbing- Could not use the bathroom at any time without the fear of clogging the toilets in every bathroom.
2nd bedroom/bathroom- sink overflowed. Needed to monitor it.
Critter(s) in the walls. They scratched off and on all day and night. Creepy.
Fixtures/handles/knobs throughout the house - broken and did not work.
A kitchen with cobwebs in the window, a refrigerator with a red light filter warning (water tasted gross), microwave did not work even in different outlets, a coffee pot that leaked.
Fold-down ironing board, no outlets nearby.
Sunporch area that needed cleaned with a ping pong table and broken paddles.
Outdoor gathering spaces- no seating (table/fire pit)
Pond and bridge that we did not trust to go near
There is potential for this property because of sq. footage and 3 bedrooms (not 4 as listed) and 3 1/2 bathrooms. However, a huge overhaul of cleaning, purging and updating needs to be addressed
This is the worst vacation rental we've experienced. We had 10 people staying here, from 3 different states - none satisfied. All disappointed. The property is not worth the rental costs, and most definitely should not be advertised as a âVillaâ.
This is a nice property that is surprisingly quiet when you consider how close it is to a main road. We barely heard any traffic, but were within a couple minutes of anything that we'd need. There is plenty of space in the house, it all on ground level, and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard was beautiful, our little dogs loved running around, and the fountain that (to our surprise) lit up at night was a fun addition. Even thought we were there when it was very warm, we still chose to do some outside things simply because of how nice the environment was. Finally, the contact for the place did a great job of connecting with us and answering our questions immediately when we contacted them. We'd definitely go back!
This house was such a great location to all the baseball fields we played on! The home everything we needed and more! Loved being able to fish and hang out!
First off, the grounds were amazing! My dog had a blast exploring and there was a fence all the way around to keep her safe. She could have gotten out of the front gate, but it was so far away from the house, she never strayed that far. You could hear the traffic, but you could not see it. I can't believe how well maintained it was for as big as it was.
We had friends stay with us a few nights and the house is big enough and spread out enough that 8 people were very comfortable.
The only downside is that the neighborhood is very commercial, but you're walled off enough that you don't notice. It's a short drive / bike to downtown Rogers. For any cyclists, the street the house is on is not bikeable, but just one street to the east has a bike path. Taking it south connects to a trail that will take you all the way to Bentonville.
This was a great spot for our family. You can be in the middle of open area, the pond, trees and seclusion. Then in the middle of the city within minutes. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying nature. We brought corn hole, volley ball net and spike ball and had plenty of room to play. Multiple disc golf and mountain bike courses close by. Hiking trails and museums near by as well. You can bring your vinyls and listen to music and play games (we brought). Overall we had a great trip and the host is super friendly, accommodating, and very hospitable.
Quiet oasis with the convenience of being in town.
This piece of property is exceptionally beautiful! The outdoor area is set up to enjoy the view. We loved it. It was also really nice to be so close to grocery stores and restaurants. It could use some improvements in providing a Wi-Fi password, making sure the grill was fully functioning, and some other small things. All things considered, we would choose stay there again.
We were the first to rent this property. The property has the potential to be 5 stars. In the amenities section it showed internet (and a smart TV) but we read no wi-fi in another section. However, there was no internet at all. A TV without internet is not smart. We were prepared to accept no Wi-Fi but there was no internet. We had to buy our own hotspot and data. They were in process of laying internet cable so that is great. We were unaware of the dog on the property, however the owner did pick up for the duration of our stay. The home is located on a beautiful piece of property. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large family. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and we would stay at the property again, once it has internet. We are grateful for Toyuna and her accommodating us on a short notice.
