Nice getaway

Mom and I started our trip here for our Mother’s Day getaway. Beautiful views and water from the beach or restaurant/bar next door. We were in one of the upper apartments. No view of the beach or water due to the mature palm trees. Apartment is basic - minimal accommodations (like wash any dishes & fill the coffee pot from small bathroom sink) for those looking for a great value and basic accommodations. The only mirror is in the bathroom and you need to be tall. I’m 5’5” and mom is a bit shorter and we could not see in the small mirror. Sand is soft and powdery! Feels great on the feet! Betty was super friendly, great cook, and understanding. Most windows were missing screens and the ones that had a screen were torn. The 1 a/c unit struggled to cool down the room - suggest to keep the bathroom door closed at all times to help a little. Lamp and ceiling fan lights did not work, there was another overhead light that did. The fans worked. Mid May 2025. The food next door is delicious and plentiful! A must!
