Some pros and some cons. Shop around before you make your final decision. Pros were location, location, location. Cons were quality of “deluxe room” well below standards. Room very small. Bed round and uncomfortable. Signs of water damage around shower clearly visible. Hinge to glass shower door hanging by a loose screw - dangerous. Bathroom very small. No real sitting space or comfortable chairs in “deluxe room”. Some features were quaint like old style lift and marble steps. Just shop around before deciding on this hotel. May 16, 2025

Hotel in the heart of old Rome

Nice small hotel in the heart of old Rome near the government buildings and only 5 min walk from Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful.

Loved our stay here! Very central location. Our room was clean, and the staff did a great job cleaning it every day and replacing towels/toiletries daily as well. The air conditioning worked well, check-in process was smooth, and bed was extremely comfortable.

Nice hotel

Room was nice but was surprised that the bed was ROUND! Not the right shape for my wife and I but we made it work. Free breakfast was great - many selections all were excellent. Overall a nice hotel.

Ehh only good for location

Bed was hard, pillows were not comfortable. I asked the front desk for a new pillow and he said “i am busy you can wait” i waited over 6 hours then asked again and the pillow was very flat. The shower head had a huge whole i could see into the ceiling, i told the ladies at the front desk and they said it was “normal”. Only good part about this stay was that it was in a great location and not too loud at night.

Really good location and room was large. Didn't care for the half wall in the shower/tub as water went all over the bathroom floor and was very slippery. I suggest providing extra towels to spread out when showering.

We stayed at the Colonna Suite del Corso for 4 nights in a Junior Room. The check in was fast and the staff were very helpful. The room itself was gorgeous, just like the photos. Beautiful stone on the walls, and a beautiful bathroom. Our hotel key allowed entry to the hotel and our room, but was also used for access through another door. There were only 2 suites in that part of the hotel so an extra bit of security. The area itself feels very safe with easy access to tourist attractions and tons of eating options no matter which way you turned. Overall a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend.
