I will start off with saying it is a great location. It’s nice to have multiple spaces to unwind. It was my wife and I staying in the unit. We appreciated having control of both the heat and cooling, which seems to be rare in Italy. Things to be aware of:Within a few minutes of settling in, we thought we heard a tank rumbling outside. We were told we were close to a military headquarters. It was the subway arriving underground. It continued from early in the morning till late at night. The Wi-Fi is terrible; they are aware and will tell you to unplug the router and reboot it. There is a horrible smell from the drain in the bathroom sink. There is no P-trap, so you get to smell the ancient smell of mold from 1600-century Rome. When this was brought to the property manager’s attention, they told me to run the hot water for 5 mins to dissipate it. The walls are very thin, so you get a front-row seat to the conversation next door, and they get a treat to hear anything happening on your side.The main couch in the living room is very uncomfortable, as it feels like the cushions are falling off and require being placed back on the sofa. The bed is very firm, although they do supply a good amount of pillows and bedding.
