The location is great, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and public transport nearby. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
However, this is a very small hotel and the hotel itself is quite old and not very soundproof. At night, you can hear your neighbors opening doors and people talking outside. The reception isn’t 24 hours, so sometimes you hear guests ringing the bell or chatting late at night. The room feels a bit dated and there were no napkins provided. I stayed for 3 nights and was told that towels would not be changed during my stay. I also heard someone touch the door handle at night, which made me a bit worried. There was a constant buzzing sound in the room, which the staff said comes from the electrical system and is the same in every room.
I booked this place in a rush and later realized that the Hilton in Rome was only about 30 euros more per night
Overall, the location and staff are great, but the noises made it hard to rest well. If you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the good choice.
