We loved our stay at Hotel Varese. The staff are amazing! You’ll feel like family. The rooms were a great size. The location is the best in the city. You're walking distance from great restaurants and ther Termini station. Quick jaunt to the airport. Quick jaunt to the sites. Breakfast was awesome and they put a lot of effort into it. We really can't wait to go back and we sincerely appreciate everything Max and the whole team did. You can't go wrong with Hotel Varese!

A very nice hotel only five minutes walk from the Termini train station. The room was clean and refreshed every day and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little unusual in that you ordered what was essentially a buffet style breakfast. Having said that, it was very good, especially the scrambled eggs. The juice and biscuits they offer in reception were also very welcome. We would have liked to watch a film one evening but it was an old tv so no Netflix and channels available were very limited.

Staff is really nice and helpful. They tried to make our stay a pleasant one even though their A/C had problems in one of their rooms but to fix it we had to be outside our room for more than an hour. The hotel is clean and convenient if you will continue your journey by train since the train station is only a few blocks away. The hotel is small and needs a good make over specially the elevator. We had a bathtub and didn’t like it because it’s quite hard to step out and there are no handles to make you feel safe.

Definitely a perfect transactional hotel. Wonderful and helpful lobby staff. A very charming general manager. Front desk staff help me obtain wine glasses in a bottle opener when needed. A very abundant number of towels. A bit small but otherwise excellent for staying a couple nights in Rome. I’ve stayed here prior to departing back home and was absolutely perfect. Great location you’re all great amenities in a very bustling energetic area of Rome. Very close to main train station so will help you with your transportation. I’ll definitely stay here again if need be.

Very friendly staff, decent size room and well located for train station/metro. Breakfast sets you up for a day sight seeing and is well organised. For the price you pay this hotel is great value.

We only stayed for the night. The room was dingy and had some damage to the baseboards. The bathroom looked and felt clean. Good blow dryer. The bed was rather stiff and lacking a mattress topper. Had a mini fridge and desk space which was nice. We asked the front desk to call us a cab to go to dinner and she said they may or may not show up so it’s better to go get one on the street. Our previous 3 hotels called us one every time we asked.

The hotel staff goes above and beyond to help with getting oriented to the city, organizing tour needs and asking how things went when we returned. The cookies and juice near the steps were always an extra when we returned! The breakfast food and service are great too! On top of all this, they recommended several great restaurants nearby. It truly is easy walking distance to the Termini train station - only 3 blocks, a turn and 1/2 block. (Many hotels underestimate the walk!) My only request would be to have a bench or hooks to hang my clean clothes while I showered and one to hang my towel for easy reach when I’m done. My only suggestion is not to use the Green Bus hop on service. It is cheaper than the other Hop Ons, but we often stood waiting longer for our bus and watched several of the companies come and pick up their people. Thus we saved some, but wasted more time waiting when we really wanted to see sites.
