4 stars because the AC didn't work. Being too hot in the room we had to sleep with the window open. Breakfast was OK however you have better options around.

The staff at the Hotel Virgilio are simply the best. This place is a gem in the heart of the city. Many places are walkable, and there are so many great places to eat close by. Loved this place!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Given a large room, very clean. Location is fantastic, with many nearby restaurants and mini-marts, as well as close majority attractions like Trevi fountain. It would be better if the hotel can offer free bottled water during the day. Overall, this hotel is great place to stay and great location.

We loved staying at Hotel Virgilio! The location was perfect, we walked everywhere! Super convenient coming from the train station. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They gave great recommendations and was very kind! We would stay again, next visit!

Location & comfort fantastic

Best location we walked everywhere to main attractions, room was very clean, price was good just under $300 per night, when we arrived were met by Marco he was so friendly and welcoming, he suggested a restaurant that gave the hotel guests 15% discount and the price and food was great

Marco was especially helpful, welcoming and mapped out area for us! i would definitely stay again very clean and large size rooms overall better than expected! i will say the front street facing room was loud but its the city so definitely can’t avoid that so really do recommend if this is your first time in rome very close to everything!

Close to trevi and colosseum! Everything was clean, loved the included breakfast. Staff was also very nice, they gave us a map with recommendations upon check in, and were always helpful throughout our stay.
