Hotel is a very easy walk from the main train station. Rooms were very clean. The view from our room looked down upon the street, but it was very quiet. There’s a grocery shop just around the corner by the station. Walking to the colosseum or popular tourist sights is about 20-30 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would book again.

The location is prefect for who catching train around, only 5 minutes to central station. The room is spacious and clean, newly renovated with kitchennaid in the public area, and offered welcome cake everyday for clients. The rooms were spotlessly clean and look exactly as they were pictured which I found was not the case for a lot of other hotels around their price range in Rome. A few of the reviews talk about the hotel area for us it was the perfect area and we felt safe walking around in the evening. About a 20 min walk to Colloseum and then 10/15 mins further on for other tourist areas. We got the leondardo express from the airport to Roma termini and the hotel is just a 3/4 min walk from there. The two men we dealt with at reception during our stay were great (sorry I don’t know their names) and very accommodating. The hotel has a terrace upstairs that you can get the keys for if you want to sit upstairs for a drink for a change of scenery when it’s warm out. For us in the UK the elevator in the hotel was daunting and we were apprehensive about using it but it worked perfectly and was safe, walking past other hotels in the area we seen they all have the same sort of elevator so must be common. Overall we had a great stay at Marco Polo, the room was beautiful and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The hotel room and location were excellent, very close to main metro, bus and train station so can easily visit everywhere. We did not try the food so cannot comment and did not see what the other rooms were like. I managed to get the family room which was the largest and recently refurbised. Be aware, the vacinity although great location is very dirty and lots of people trying to sell you things. We found a great restaurant not far away Santa Maria Osteria Romana all all staff are Italian, food was fantastic and very friendly.

For their renovated rooms, I would recommend the hotel. It is about 150m from Termini and is accepting late arrivals. Our flight was delayed and all in all we arrived at 22:45. It is quiet but not fully sound proof. There are restaurants, small market and coffee shop right by the entrance of the building.

A very nice room and friendly staff that really cares about their guests. Very clean and well-maintained. Located in the center of Rome, close to Termini station - this is a huge advantage if you want to explore Rome and other cities by train, bus and subway. There are a few good restaurants and coffee shops right outside the hotel, so if you are lazy, you can eat just a few steps away. The street outside is not too noisy and we vere feeling safe there as well. I have no problem to recommend Relais Marco Polo to other guests! Go for it, you won't regret!

Such a quaint boutique hotel super close to the Termini. The staff was exquisite! So helpful and kind! David was so happy to help me upon checkout with a broken suitcase I needed to get rid of, letting me checkout late, offering to hold my luggage if I needed, all with a smile. Fantastic service. The only downside was the thin walls. I could hear everything outside my room, but I would stay again in a heartbeat and just buy ear plugs : )
