The pictures donât do the property justice - so much space for the group of us to hang out by the dock, play corn hole, grill outside, and play pool / games indoors. Clean space and no complaints, would come back again!
Lovely home, beautiful view. Great separation of spaces for a group. Though the weather did not cooperate for us, the outdoor spaces are wonderful. We are used to the common FLX model of a split property with doc across the street, so this was no issue. Dock was beautiful. Great location on Cayuga. Fenced in yard is a unique bonus.
The property was located on a hill above the highway which you had to cross to get to the lake...which was not as described which said it was on the lake. No amenities in the bathrooms. The description of the house was of four bedrooms and three bathrooms...a misnomer because three bedrooms were located on the second floor with one small bathroom for the three bedrooms. The bedroom downstairs had a full bathroom and there was another bathroom in the same hallway. Huh? No bathroom in the basement where there was another sleeping area. In one upstairs bedroom, there was no closet or shelves for clothes. Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, sheets and towels were Motel 6 worthy. When we spoke to the hosts, they were curt...like they didn't want to be in the business much less the hospitality business. We cannot recommend this place. Deceptively advertised and didn't live up to the hype.
Great for family and kids. Plenty of space. Plenty to do. Also close to a lot of awesome wineries. It is a bit set back from the lake. But has a beautiful dock.
Beautiful lake house in Romulus. 2 Cornell families stayed here for graduation weekend. House is lovely. Spacious yard. Rented a boat (which was delivered to the dock and picked up at the dock!). Everything we could have wanted for a graduation weekend!
Loved our stay. It was a big space and a lot of room for my granddaughter to run around in. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Beds weâre very comfortable and crib was really nice. Communication with host was very easy!! Nit picky things: wish there had been a high chair or booster chair, hand towels in bathrooms, more kitchen towels, basement bathroom would have been great. Like I said those were just tiny issues. The location was great for all that we did. Beautiful views of the lake. Would definitely stay there again.
Our group of 6 adults, 1 baby, and 2 dogs throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for all. We loved the huge living room. Most of the furniture and fixtures throughout the house appeared nearly new. The kitchen was well equipped.
Everything was spotlessly clean, which was especially important to us with a crawling baby. Our grandson loved the toys and play rug in the family room.
There was plenty of parking. We appreciated the grill. The fenced in portion of the yard was great for letting our dogs out.
It was a bit of a hike to the waterfront, but we knew that going in. The dock area, like everything else, was very well kept. We had a great time by the water, including renting a boat one day that we were able to tie up with no problems.
The location was perfect for exploring nearby wineries. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We've traveled to the Finger Lakes as a family for years, but this was our first time on Cayuga Lake. We will be back!
We were three couples (the fourth cancelled last minute due to a medical emergency). The house is spacious, clean, nicely appointed and has many amenities such as foosball, pool table and gym machines. It is located in the middle of the Lake Cayuga wine trail with numerous wineries in close proximity. It has access to the lake, but you need to cross the road and walk down 50 steps to get there so we didn't use that area very much. Highly recommend this property.
Our stay was very enjoyable. The house is beautiful and everyone had a great time. We especially enjoyed the water access and expansive yard. The kids LOVED the bead boat!! This is our 4th year doing a family vacation with our adult children and grandkids. We all agreed this was the nicest of the 4 different places we have stayed.
