Staff was nice and accommodating, the room and bathroom were clean. Beds were good and the place was quiet. Wifi was good and the tv in the room allowed skycasting so we could watch netflix from our phone. Overall basic accomodation that meets all your needs for a very nice price.

While the room was large and relatively clean, sheets and pillow cases were really stained, the mattress was very uncomfortable and throughout the entire night other guests were noisy, slamming doors, running in the hallways and yelling. Traveling solo, I also did not appreciate my room number being announced loudly for everyone in the lobby to hear.

Unfriendly and dirty

We booked two rooms and upon check-in were given rooms on different floors after being told they had no other rooms available. Staff was unhelpful and didn’t say much and not very responsive to questions. In our room the linen was really dirty and the beds were not made up. The linen had several yellow stains on 2 out of 3 of the beds and the bed sheets were not tucked in, it looked like the linen had not been changed. When I spoke to the reception they offered no apologies and begrudgingly just gave me a new room key. The new room was on the same floor as the other room in our booking, yet they choose to seperate our two rooms when checking in. The reception didn’t sound surprise when I complained about the beds not being made up and dirty.

Easy parking, clean room and bathroom, although there was an issue with the heating as it took some time to heat the room and has to set into max but overall a very good place to stay at Rotorua. Highly recommended!
