I booked two king bed with thermal park view but the staff was mistakenly gave one with lower grade room with no view room. I did not exchange due to luggage already at the room! We went to breakfast and was crowded with people. The staff did not check if my room included breakfast ( we booked without breakfast). We finished and left the restaurant and only notified the front desk of our consumption at checkout. This hotel is really busy due to tour visitors and the services is lagging behind the expectation.

Stayed two nights at this property and felt so spoiled. When booked a room that overlooked a nautical geothermal area and it was so cool to see that from the bedroom window!! Staff was f’very friendly and nice. The pool was amazing! Super warm geo thermally heated outdoor pool it was the best part of the hotel stay and we were in it as much as possible. Facility is clean, room was nice and well kept. Bed was comfortable. They have complimentary tea and espresso in the room as well , definitely recommend staying here when in Rotorua

Initially we were disappointed in our allocated room as it was very dated and in need of modernisation. The staff on the front desk were very helpful in reallocating us to another room which was one of their refurbished rooms. The breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice and good quality. The hotel is situated at the far end of town away from the main restaurants and bars. We needed to take the car into town to eat each evening, although there is a restaurant onsite if you wanted. Parking is limited and I feel it would quickly fill up in peak season.Very convenient for the Maori village experience which is literally across the road. Overall a pleasant stay once our room issues were addressed.

We enjoyed our stay, particularly the lovely heated pool & spa pools, nice to have gowns to wear to the pool area. The breakfast buffet was excellent, nice staff & great choice of food. Our room was clean, spacious & quiet. Overall would be happy to stay there again.

Room was clean, but needs a re vamp. Chair was ripped. Curtains had large water stains, ceiling of part of roof was slats , you could see wiring, ceiling batts , aircon unit . Did not like shower over bath, was high to step into even with safety rubber bath mat this slipped as getting into it. Hall ways looked tired and shabby. I was disappointed as foyer and downstairs looked very nice. Also very noisey, people in rooms above banging and slamming doors a lot.

It was a nice hotel to stay. Infrastructure looks slightly oldish and needing some care but amenities were good. It was clean, has free and easy parking, good pool, nice lobby, located next to whakarewarewa thermal village... Nothing to complain about.

Reception, bar and restaurant are all nice, but lots of other areas of the hotel are fairly tired looking. Rooms are a good size with comfy beds and decent enough standard. Buffet breakfast was good with lots of choice. Pool is good, but quite small for the size of the hotel so was packed when we were there. Not world class, but pretty good value for what we paid.

Nice Hotel. Rooms are a bit average and small. Bike lockup room is awesome, charged the e-bikes without issue. Limited parking onsite, did have to park out on the road one night. Gym is functional and the pool is fantastic . Staff were friendly and happy to help.

Great hotel but need some TLC

I was located in the main building (room 422) and it is in desperate need of a refurb. The towel rail in the bathroom was so rusted and corroded that you couldn't even hang a towel on it (the one over the bath) - All in all it is a good hotel and I believe the new wing is really nice. I was just unfortunate to get one of the older rooms
