The Wild Blue Yonder Room - Wander Inn

The Wild Blue Yonder room has a king-size bed with vintage carved panels as the headboard, handcrafted cedar nightstands, and a dream catcher chandelier. A set of French doors lead out onto a private balcony with your own rocking chairs which allows for a perfect view of the sunset and the longhorns.

This room also has cedar floors throughout, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, the ranch-style corrugated metal shower, rainfall shower head, your own record player, vintage table fan and a mini-fridge.

This room is upstairs in the Star House, where you will have a large common living area with 3 other rooms. The great room has cedar floors, a gas fireplace, an American flag that flew over the State Fair of Texas in 1972, our vintage “STAR MOTEL” sign which has been used as the backdrop for numerous photoshoots including Miranda Lambert & Country Living magazine. A large disco ball style chandelier hangs above large leather sofas and chairs flanking our handcrafted piano coffee table piled high with stacks of books, records and games for your entertainment.

Everyone has access to our outdoor areas (65 acres), gas firepits, adirondack chairs, bicycles & stock tank Cowboy Pools!

There is a common kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We ask that you do not cook in these kitchens are they are not equipped for cooking, but are fine for snacks and drinks.
