Small and nice hotel close to the Europapark

The hotel is very close to the main entrance of the Europa Park. Nice, but not very modern rooms. Friendly hosts. For the relatively low price I think you csn‘t complain at all.

Great little hotel.

We stayed here whilst visiting Europa Park. Cute little town with windy narrow streets. It took a couple of times top figure out while the hotel entrance was, but once we did we found parking easy right in front of the hotel. These spaces are reserved for guests only and are free. English isn't well spoken here but the staff were great and we managed well. The hotel sits in top of a restaurant and the check in desk is the same counter as the restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't get to done there but the menu looked good. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was massive and very modern. Three is a small shopping centre about 5 to 10 minutes walk up the road or a few minutes by car, with free parking for the budget conscience like we were. There is also a beautiful park across the road from the shopping centre. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Europa Park. They also offered discounted tickets to the theme park however we had already visited and were using the hotel to sleep over before our next location. The photos show the building you need to turn into and drive behind in order to get to the Carpark at the hotel.

Fantastic location for Europa-Park

We arrived at the the hotel for a 4 night stay. The check in was great, a warm greeting from the owner. Our room was on the second floor, spotlessly clean with a nice sized bathroom. I found that the sloping ceiling in our room was a little claustrophobic, but that’s just me. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us. The hotel has a lovely restaurant, although as the weather was good, every one was eating outside, and reasonably priced. It’s a great spot just by the river. The location is fantastic. The owner said it’s a 6 minute walk to the main entrance for Europa-Park and it is! If we come back again we’ll definitely stay here again.

Great Value place to stay.

Easy to find, super convenient for Europa park which was a 3 minute walk round the corner. Nice location by river. Good breakfast, clean simple rooms, friendly staff. Onsite free car parking. Wifi was free but was slow/kept losing connection. Clean safe area. In-room aircon worked well and kept us cool during humid min-June heat!

We liked it

Great and simple place to stay. The Europapark is just 3 walking minutes away from the hotel. The staff is really kind and helpful. The menues at the restaurant are also delicious. However, you should reserve a table in advance in order to avoid long waiting time. Overall, we had a great time staying at the hotel.

Perfect location for visiting Europa Park

Great hotel just 4 minutes walk from the entrance to Europa Park. We had a family room that was spacious clean and well laid out. The breakfast is a very good buffet which we all enjoyed. We ate in the restaurant on the second night and that was fine. All the staff seem very friendly. We will return in the future.

Very friendly staff. Excellent proximity to Europa Park. Pleasant neighborhood; very scenic on the river. Comfortable, clean room. Internet was not good but was told upgrade was imminent. Would recommend for business or personal stay.

Great location

Very close to Europa Park, only a 5-6 minute walk. It was also very close to the village's other amenities such as cash machine, supermarket, food outlets etc. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and English was spoken by most of them.

Amazing hotel. No complaints.

Everything about this hotel was great: room, food, location, and staff. This family owned and run hotel has a really great restaurant downstairs and good breakfast. The location on the small river is amazing and is just 5 mins walking distance from Europa Park. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would not change a thing.

Great alternative to the main Europa park hotels

Great location under 5 minute walk to park entrance. Reasonably priced, extremely comfortable and has aircon! Which is needed especially in the summer! Friendly staff and nice food in the restaurant.

just a few steps to Europapark

We stayed at Zum Alten Rathaus for one night during our family trip to Europapark. It's so close to Europapark. The hotel is very clean and very nicely situated by the river. So cute. The staff was very nice and polite. We just loved it.

The Best Hotel for Europa Park!

This was a wonderful place for us as a family. The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast offered a delightful assortment of foods of a very good quality. Our dinner there was delicious. The setting of the hotel is lovely--right by a small stream and the walk is less than five minutes to Europa Park. We stayed there for two very restful nights at a reasonable price. Our last day there, we checked out of our room, stored our luggage in a safe location, and then the owner of the hotel drove us to our train stop at the end of the day--as a personal courtesy. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Zum Alten Rathaus in Rust

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very clean, and nice. The service was excellent by the hotel and the restaurant. It was easy to find and very close to Europa Park, which was why our family stayed here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying there again on our next trip. English is also spoken here by all the staff we came in contact with.
